330 indoors is based on the Bristish standard FPS/joule limit, right? Supposedly they tested the shit out of how much force it took a .2 to puncture the human eye. Anything more than that and you're begging for accidents. Anything less and you're either buying a TM or downgrading an outdoor-ready gun, both of which can get spendy. I'm down for sticking to regulations as they currently stand. It balances relative safety and relative convenience to a point where debating it seems kind of silly to me.

I'm just wondering if they came up with these limits based on some sort of study or just taking the commonly used fps limits and standardizing them.

Last I heard it was based on an extensive study. Anyone got a citation for that?
