April 20 Small Skirmish in Cottage Grove, OR

Ok, I'm taking snipe's advice and posting a day and time for a small skirmish I could host.

The day would be next thursday, April 20 in Cottage Grove. The time would be from 4pm until dark( which is about 7-8pm) or you get get tired. Game will start earlier if people can make it.

The area will be a small area, only 150ft x 200ft which should be enough for small skirmishes. Please keep in mind it is in the backyard of someone's home so don't expect a great looking area. Also, I think the best amount of people would be 8-10( just enough for a fun game I think).

I had plans on doing regular skirmishes with teams starting on opposite sides of area. Perhaps some capture the flag games( I just need some "flags" for that. I was also thinking of defend the fort( shed in the photos) where the opposing teams could start in any part of the area as long as its the edge.

If enough people want to come and the game does happen, I will supply soda and chips( I'm poor :P). I'm new at this so any advice would be greatly appreciated . If at all possible, carpool. Theres only like 4 "parking" spots so yeah. If I can get enough people to get a game going, I'll post the address.

I work on the weekend so I cannot hold it on any day other than mon-thurs.

At the moment, I only have 1 other person. If I can't get at least 8 people in total then there will be no game.

okay, well I hope you can get a group together, but I might not be able to make it on a weekday. I do think its pretty cool that you're putting this together, maybe you could set up a game at a field somewhere on the weekend when you have a day off so more people could come. just an idea

summer would be a better time to host it because most the people that go to school will be out and will have more time to go to games monday-friday.

I don't especially like the idea of waiting 2-3 months to do anything. My guns have been rusting long enough hehe.

I am up for thursday games, and I have a couple of other guys that wouldn't mind playing. So about 4 of us. All with AEG's or sniper. We actually train on thursdays.

Dude! Thats AWESOME! Can you make it this thursday or are you too far away?

I don't think a sniper rifle would be very good for this game, not enough space. If I can get this game going, I can try and get even better games going( bigger fields, etc).

holy crap, I had no idea where cottage grove was, definately a bit of a jaunt for a three hour game. I think it would take longer to get there than we would be playing. Sorry to burst your bubble man.
