Operation Plow Horse

Postby ClownBaby » Thu Feb 12, 2015 3:23 pm

19331

"I MUST SPRING BREAK YOU"

Saturday March 21st at Splat Action
$20

Chrono/check-in starts at 11am
Briefing at 11:45, Game-on at noon
We will play til about 5pm, probably without a lunch break

Ages 12 & up, ALL PLAYERS UNDER 18 MUST WEAR HARD FACE PROTECTION, NO EXCEPTIONS. Paintball masks are available on loan from the action shack.

All players MUST sign waiver, minors must have a parents signature, waivers are available on Splat Action's website. NO WAIVER, NO PLAYING.

Team color/camo patterns are:
"Good guys"- woodland camo (no real-tree, multicam, digital, desert, etc.)
"Bad guys"- Black tops & blue jeans, we're casual commandos

Standard AP rules apply, DMR's and P*'s welcome (be thoughtful of those with less superior weaponry, abuse of this will result in me asking you to leave the field)

No gun hits, no ricochet hits, no using your hat on a stick tricks, no shields.

Being that it's been a few months since I did this, I'm sure I'm forgetting something. If so please remind me, or if you have a question, just ask.

The objectives will be posted at a later date, as the field is being expanded and new structures are being built, this will obviously effect what we're doing.

Please RSVP, this will help me tremendously on knowing what props I need to bring.

Thanks everyone, hopefully it'll be as awesome outside then, as it is today!
Looking forward to seeing you guys!

The camo team will be infiltrating, they will have medics.

Civi team will be defending, and will have spawns.

I would also like to ask anyone who has the ability, to bring both a camo, and a civi kit, so we can even out the teams if needed.

Thanks

This is a best of three points style game.

Camo teams objectives are as follows:

Hard intel gathering, human asset recovery, & disruption of communication equipment.

Civi teams objectives are:

1.) Don't allow the good guys to download the missle specs from our research lab. These programs include our new monkey-flu dirty bomb, and we cannot afford to lose such a powerful weapon so early in the campaign.
If the specs are downloaded to the hard-disk format, the Intel is then portable. The disk must then be held in the open by whoever is holding it.

Camo team members that are shot while holding the disk may hold onto the disk until a medic arrives to heal them, a non-medic teammate removes the disk from the fallen player, or civi team members may recover the disk.

Civi team members that are shot while holding the disk. Raise the disk straight up into the air and yell "hit" hold this position for 10 seconds, then place the disk straight down onto the ground. Do not hide the disk, if you are in heavy brush, try and set it somewhere noticeable, after all, you maybe the one who has to find it again. The disk will have a lanyard, so hanging it at eye level is acceptable. (Again, don't hide it) Once you've sat the disk down, walk to spawn.
Either team, if you've been shot while holding the disk, DO NOT MOVE WITH THE DISK. Your teammates may come to you to get the disk, you may not go to them.

The disk is worth one point.

2.) Retain control of your scientist, He's the only crazy bastard who understands how the new virus works, so we kinda need him, like a lot! If he is captured by the good guys, he may be recaptured, or killed by your forces. He is worth one point alive to whatever team has him at the end of the game. Dead he's worth nothing to either team, but killing him could be used as a point blocking strategy. He may be healed by medics, or escorted to a spawn to be revived.

Note: The scientist will be resistant to capture in the presence of any civi teammates, but while alone with the camo team he will offer no resistance. But remember, he is a scientist, not a soldier, and may geek-out while taking direct fire. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BE KIND TO OUR ACTOR, DON'T INJURE HIM

3.) Good propaganda is key to your movements agenda, therefore keeping your radio station up and running is critical. If it is destroyed, it will take months to get the parts needed to repair it. (you know how corporate China is!) This can not be allowed to happen.

The radio tower is worth one point.

We need a volunteer to be the scientist. You will get into this game free, and I will give you two free passes to either this, or future games. Don't forget that we usually play a few short pick-up games at the end of the day, after the op, you would be able to play these for free also. All the regular age, eyepro, safety stuff, and waivers apply.

I have a lab coat for you to wear.

Just to be clear, camo guys cannot defend themselves with any weapons while wounded. They can however, crawl on their hands and knees to try and escape, or they may use their radio to call for assistance. If you are shot again while crawling, please stop and be more wounded. LOL

I also haven't decided weather or not to have the scientist armed with a pistol. And weather or not I'll be playing the scientist. It seems like it'd be a fun role to play, especially if I get to flail around when being shot at.

Again, please remember to be conscious of whoever plays the scientists safety. If you haven't seen it already, checkout Jets prisoner exchange video of JP getting his ear ripped off on the YouTube.

We don't want that.

When you are a master of grammar, like I am, when you do it wrong, it's meant as a joke! LOL

1. I don't care
2. I really don't care
3. I have a learning disability, have had three TBI's, and never passed any grades or classes, so I think I'm doin pretty good with what I got. I'm usually writing all this in the middle of the night, (when I can barely keep my eyes from crossing) and always on my cellphone.
4. It really does bug me when people start sentences with "And", but sometimes I do it anyway.
And besides, if we didn't molest the English language all the time, you'd go crazy with nothing to do, right?

When I compared myself to you, it wasn't really about being anal about how people write on here, it was more about the more time I spend on here, the more I feel like a grumpy old man.

But yeah, that guy who I said that too was not using any capital letters, and yes, that shit totally drives me crazy! Damn whippersnappers!

Oh, and thanks for bumping my thread to the top again.

I'll have an AK & AR mag at chrono.

If your gun uses a different style of mag, please bring an empty one with you to chrono.

Thanks

And yes, there will be cake.

Yes, there are always paintballers somewhere on the map when I host. John and his staff understand that our safety gear is not safe for paintball rounds, and are taking it very seriously. He doesn't want anyone hurt.

We will be inserting the camo team via vehicle using the logging road. The defending team will be in Fort Defiance to StarLog to Khe-Shan, if we need that much.

It's really kinda funny, seems like about 4pm all the paint-turds leave and we're the only people there. I guess they have to go home and wash their stupid jerseys.
