This is a straight up hostage extraction from enemy held territory.
Your primary objective is to locate and extract the hostage alive if possible. You are not to leave the hostage to where they are a continuing source of information to the enemy.
Identify, secure and remove any intel gathered from the hostage by the captors.
Eliminate all enemy units of rank (identified by double armbands).
Tiki torches will define the playing field. There will be five structures within the playing field (area of operations), all of them controlled by the enemy. In one of these structures the hostage is being held. In another structure the enemy officers are quartered and possibly in a third structure the intel gathered from the hostage might be kept.
The extraction team can insert into the area of operations at any point along the perimeter. Their start point needs to be fixed prior to game start. Once all the objectives are met the team must extract along a predetermined route to exit the field and win.
The extraction team will have a medic who can revive any team member shot out during play. The enemy will respawn off field and only reenter the field in fixed numbered groups i.e., 3 or 4 man squads. Enemy reinforcements (respawns) will initially only enter the field at one point but as the game progresses the enemy will begin to enter the field at multiple points.
Sunset is at 18:02 and dusk at 18:32. The game will start at 18:45 and end at 21:45 or when all objectives are completed. Prior to the game there will be a safety briefing for all players and then individual team briefings.
If the extraction team is successful in part or in total, the rescue team sent in the following day will have:
The location of the crash site (extracting the hostage alive 20 points)
If unable to extract the hostage – killing the hostage 10 points
The enemy’s insertion point (removing intel 10 points)
Eliminating all enemy officers 10 points
Completing all of these objectives results in denying the enemy the location of the crash site
The enemy goals are similar
Preventing the extraction and maintaining control of the hostage 20 points
If unable to maintain control of the hostage – killing the hostage 10 points
Maintaining control of intel 10 points plus the following days extraction team’s insertion point
Just one enemy officer surviving the mission 10 points
Completing just one of these objectives results in obtaining the location of the crash site

Air Force One is down with the president and his entire cabinet in a remote, hostile location. Your primary mission is to go in, locate and extract the president.
Secondary objectives are to locate and extract the cabinet members and to sterilize the crash site by finding and removing the following items: 2 Flight recorders (black box), the President’s nuclear football (black briefcase), and the Air Force One flight plans (blue clipboard).
Mylar balloons on strings attached to armbands will represent the President and his cabinet. To move a balloon from it’s location you have to attach it to your left arm using the armband. If you are shot out while moving a balloon then you remove it from your arm and leave it where you were shot out. You can only move one balloon per person.
There is only one way to extract the President, you must take him to your FOB, where you will notify a referee that you have the President and are ready to extract him. The referee will have you wait a fixed amount of time (10 to 15 minutes) and then give you the go ahead to extract. After that you have just 5 minutes to get the President safely off the field. If the President is still on the field when the 5 minutes are up then he has to be returned to the FOB and process starts over.
Cabinet members can be extracted in the same manner as the President or they can be extracted by calling in a chopper. To extract via chopper you must take the cabinet member to a location that is free of overhead obstructions, notify a referee that you intent to extract via chopper and identify which cabinet member you are extracting, at which point the referee will start a 5-minute countdown. If you have been able to maintain your position for the 5-minute countdown then at the referee’s signal you release the balloon from it’s armband and allow it to float free. It has to clear all overhead obstacles in order for it to be a successful extraction. Otherwise that cabinet member is considered eliminated and the enemy is given 10 points. If at any point during the 5-minute countdown you are driven off your extraction site then the extraction is scrubbed and has to start again.
Rescue Team
Extracting the President 40 points
Extracting a cabinet member 20 points
Extracting a crash site item 10 points
Bad Guys
Having the President in custody at game end 40 points
Having a cabinet member in custody at game end 20 points
Eliminating a cabinet member 10 points
Having possession of a crash site item at game end 10 points
The raffle is in appreciation of the players support for these events and as such is a no pay raffle. This means that you do not purchase raffle tickets, they are earned on the field individually or as a team. We will use a ratio to determine how many raffle tickets each team member receives, i.e., if the final scores are Good Guys 40, Bad Guys 60 the ratio would be 2:3 so everybody on the Good Guy team would get two raffle tickets and everybody on the Bad Guy team would get 3.
Individual raffle tickets will be awarded for bravery, being the first to complete an objective, first successful chopper extraction, etc., and will be given out by the referees.
