Northern Forces closes in the southern city of Chang Won. Southern Forces dug in the southern perimeter and buys time by holding the City of Taegu. United States looks for diplomatic solution as Japan and South Korea resist the idea of Korea Unification under China's ideology. Will history repeat itself? Only you playing the role as commanders can determine the faith of the Korean peninsula!!

Gentlemen,

Here is the final draft of the the 1st Scenario, base on last year's Battle Update Brief (BUB). I would encourage those of you that have been task as key leaders (General of each team) to formulate a plan on how to engage and obtain your objectives. I realize that a map is not included with this post (for security reason). But it does encourage pre-planning liaison with individual teams that are currently signed up. A map will be emailed to key leaders as soon as the Cadre finish their terrain walk next weekend. Thank you for your patience.



Operation White Jindo 4 (Scenarios)

Scenario #1 RED TIDE ( Sep 29, 2012; 1100 hrs – 1300 hrs)
After a successful offensive by the Northern Alliance, the North Korean Command decided an attempt to push through the Eastern corridor by threatening the City of Changwon /Pusan/Ulsan/Taegu. The Eastern Campaign simulates the advance of N. Korean 5th Army Corp toward the City of Changwon, Supported by Chinese 38th Group Army. The Russian 6th Army guards the southern flank of the N. Korean forces by securing MSR 2.
The Southern Command continues to suffer defeat for 3 straight seasons. S. Korea’ 3rd Corp Mountain Division and United States, 2nd Infantry Division, finds themselves in the same situation during the 1st Korean War, defending the Southern Eastern region of the Korean peninsula. Japan’s 5th Division holds on to the City of Pusan to keep the logistical pipeline open.

Roy Field Grid Map is now available for those attending Operation White Jindo 4. Be advice that Map reading is an intricate part of this MILSIM exercise. For those that need help with map reading, we will allocate some time during the event for the following topic:

First Aid/Med-Evacuation
Battle drills (reacting to ambush, convoy, crowd control, etc)
Communication
Map Reading
How to use a crew serve weapon (rocket launcher)

Common Task Training will be during the 1st hour of the second scenario.
