Tech Wars Mayhem-Beavercreek Oregon

Postby Reaper II » Wed Mar 24, 2010 12:47 am

March 27th 2010

9AM to 9PM

NW Tactical Adventures

We are a green field and use only Biodegradable Ammo

TEK WAR

$20.00 per-person for this 1day Event. We need at least 10 players to make this game possible.

Pre-Registration RSVP for this Airsoft game is RECOMMENDED to have adequate supplies, ready for you..

Last minute drop-ins WILL BE accepted. Pay when arrive! Drop-in’s might not be totally supported with supplies.

See: Suggested KIT or what you should bring.

Tek War has a NO RESTRICTIONS on weapons theme. On other game fields you are restricted as to the weapons that you can use. The FPS rules are industry standards and we observe fps limits the same as Airsoft Pacific. With no restrictions on mag capacity.

This is a No Restrictions Airsoft Game. We Want you to bring your M249, M60, PKM, RPK type SAWs, Grenades, Claymore’s, LAW rocket launchers, RPG’s, mortars, Ghillie suits, camouflage, face paints, etc.. Bring all of your Airsoft equipment.

This is a fully automatic fire scenario, with Max capacity clips. I think you get the point. Bring it on, or bring out. Bring out all of your GREAT equipment.

The Airsoft players that show up will be squared off into two separate battalions. Each battalion will appoint a commander and troops of a defensible fire base. These two battalions will then have to defend their piece of ground. It is your team’s duty to plan, coordinate and execute the assault and takeover of the enemy base, and retrieve the 10 crates of munitions and their possession.

Where this will be:

This game will be held at the Beavercreek field. In the Fire Base field area also known as G &H .

The Fire Bases will be known as Fire Base "B.O.H.I.C.A."

and the second Base is known as Fire Base "F.U.B.A.R."

The field address is 20197 S. Butte Rd. Beavercreek, OR 97004

At the same time, meaning the EXACT same time, or within a certain small time-frame?

I concur. I'd be down for this if I had more than 3 days notice. How about next weekend or even the weekend after that?

...i thought the same thing.
It's an interesting idea (possibly having to go from sleep-mode to battle-mode in the middle of the night), but some troublesome issues are coming to mind, lol.

Most troublesome of all is the fact that there is only 3 days notice.

Battlesim's Viet Nam games go like this so that's not a big deal. They're 24 hours and you keep your eye pro on the whole time you play.

Ook, First, It is this coming weekend. I will take the hit for late notice. I had a family illness and people thought I took care of it. Sorrryyyy. Next eye pro? Im sure the safe thing would be to wear at all times. But im not the admin, im just the First Aid Tech on the field. As far as up coming events go to the Nw Tactical Website and it has all the upcoming games for the next few month including the Sapper training coming up with a competition with a lot of money on the line.

in my experience, any game where anything other than pride (meaning money or prizes other than a trophy) is on the line turns into a hack-fest almost immediately. i personally have zero interest in that sort of game for that reason. peoples morals get a lot looser when they have something material to lose from being honest.

as for the 24hr game, its a cool concept but could have benefited a lot from some more advanced warning, as has been stated several times already. i know a lot of people have been tossing similar ideas around for a while though, i would be very interested to hear how it turns out.
