The Civil War (No, not that one)

THE MODERN AMERICAN CIVIL WAR

Somewhere, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, trouble has been brewing. A rogue militant group is secretly plotting a violent takeover of our government. They are backed by many Southern townsfolk and other paramilitary groups, and plan to pick up more people on the chaotic march to the capitol they have planned. Speaking of which, they're going to try to take Washington DC. They plan on marching on the capitol, overtaking as many national monuments as possible, and taking hostage the President, Vice President, and any other political figures they can, for the purpose of public execution.

With the paramilitaries making their ominous march towards Washington, the Republic of Cascadia decided upon making the move they've been planning for the last 50 years: total secession from the United States. The government paid them little attention, as they had bigger things on their mind. The newly formed republic needed funding, of course, and had no real way to get it. No real way until the C.O.C.K came into power through a bloody coup. He declared that the PLA, a force that had not seen true combat for a century, would grace the battlefield once more. They had recently developed a special training and steroid regiment that turned soldiers into something more. They could take numerous seemingly-lethal hits and keep going, they could carry great amounts of ammunition without slowing down, and they looked sexy while doing it.

Turning our attention back to the ever-growing rabble of “protestersâ€

Does "in charecter" mean I should knock a few of my front teeth out and start wearing a tin-foil hat?
Don't have to worry about starting to beat my kids, I've been at that for a while now.

You don't actually have to knock out your teeth, you can just use a black marker to give the appearance of gaps.

If I can get my gun fixed in time I will surely come to this one! Sounds like good times, and a nice excuse to put all the Christmas goodies to use...

Is there a reason Multicam isn't being allowed for either side?

PLA wrote:NO MULTICAM

I will not be attending this event. Unfortunately, multicam is the only pattern I own, and I'm not looking to change that in the foreseeable future. A shame, too, because I rather enjoy shooting at/with many of the people on PLA, and I know ABT like the back of my own hand.

Not allowing people wearing what is arguably the second most common camouflage pattern used within our community to attend your game seems like a very easy way to alienate a lot of potential players.

I would be inclined to believe you had a legitimate reason for not including the pattern if this was being promoted as a milsim game, with perhaps one pattern per force. Obviously, that isn't the case. Your decision to disallow multicam seems to stem solely from PLA's tired "multicam is for apes, lolz!!1!" doctrine.

Using only the expansive growth of PLA in the past few months as my anecdotal evidence, I was under the impression that your organization actively encouraged the idea that everyone, irrespective of whether or not they had copious amounts of "apeish" gear, could be a valuable team asset. The very focus of PLA seems to be upon including everyone.

Disbarring an entire set of players from attending an event based solely upon the pattern of their uniform seems like an awfully elitist --apeish-- thing to do.

The hypocrisy runs deep.

PLA does not have a multicam is for douches doctrine. The no multicam bit is a joke. Not a funny joke.
