We finished up early today, so we had the raffle.
First off, thanks to Brad and Airsoft Outlet NW for putting up the raffle for this event. I'm stupified at their kindness.
And the winner is..... bum bum bum.
Philly won the "Honor Grad". He came knowing nothing, but was attentive, listened, and learned a lot. Zaki chose based on his performance, improvement and attitude.
Two further AEG's were raffled off (all three Echo1 MP5's).
The raffle winners are.... bum bum bum.
Wickedone and Splinter.
I gave Wicked his AEG, as well as Philly. I took home Splinter's and I'll be giving that to him the next time I see him. I have his phone number, so I'll meet up with him when he gets the chance.
I'd like to thank everyone for coming out to this training. I know the methods are more towards MOUT than LE type situations, but it's what is used today by special forces across the world.
Master Sergeant Zaki teaches it this way because this is what works, and has saved his life. He's seen it used in real world applications, and throughout his twelve deployments, he's been shot several times. When you use something and it doesn't work, you learn the hard way. He's learned the hard way, and was gracious enough to come teach us what he's learned.
If you have any further class suggestions, please PM me or post 'em. He has experience in Counter Terrorism, Police actions, snatch and grabs, and MOUT. We focused on MOUT, because PLA are a bunch of dum dum hard chargers and want to kill everything. This is Military Operations in Urban Terran; not Police actions, or Magpul actions. Military.
Thanks again to AONW and everyone who came!
