A.P. Standard Field and Safety Rules:
The following rules are for the safety of the players. Those who are unable to follow these rules will be considered unsafe players and will not be welcome at future games and events.
1. Always wear eye protection in the form of goggles, masks, or shooting glasses, or safety glasses. Never remove your eye protection while on the battlefield. Regular prescription glasses are NOT acceptable as safety eyewear. Must meet ANSI Z87.1 standards and wrap around the face.
2. Do not fire in the dead-pool (or designated "safe-zones") or through it. If you must test fire your replica, take it into the hot-zone and fire it there.
3. All replicas in dead-pool or safe-zones have magazine out, safety on, muzzle cap fixed. Side arms should be holstered and on safe.
4. Do not point your replica at anyone unless you are involved in a game on the battlefield and intend to shoot them.
5. Do not fire at any person without proper eye protection.
6. Do not fire at non-participants, including animals.
7. No illegal drug use will be permitted. No alcohol use before or during a game.
8. Leave real steel firearms at home! Real steel and Airsoft DO NOT MIX.
9. Carry replicas in boxes, bags, or carrying cases while transporting gear on or off the field. Do not remove your replica from it's case near a public highway, instead carry your gear in it's case to the designated staging area for the game.
10. Remove all of your gear and trash from the field when you leave.
Standard FPS Limits:
Chronographs are often used before games to test all replicas present. Any replicas that test too high will not be allowed in play. No exceptions will be made, please research upgrades and how they effect your replica before purchasing or installing them. All of the follow velocity limits are with .20g BBs.
Standard 6mm BBs
Gas Pistols - Green Gas
Fully Automatics - 400 fps (1.5j)
Sniper Rifles (Bolt Action) - 550 FPS (2.8j)
CQB/Indoor - All under 330 fps (0.8j)
*Limits Measured with .20g BB
.27g 8mm BBs
Fully/Semi Automatics - 345 fps (1.5j)
CQB/Indoor - All under 285 fps (1j)
Sniper Rifles (Bolt Action ONLY) - 475 FPS (2.8j)
*Limits Measured with .27g 8mm BB
Rules of Engagement:
As a new player you'll want to know how these simple game mechanics work so you'll understand what to do in skirmish for different situations.
HITS & OUTS
- Anyone hit by a BB is hit and out.
- If you are "hit" during a game, 1) immediately yell "HIT!" as loud as you can, 2) place an orange or bright red bandana over your head, 3) walk back to the designated deadpool with the bandana clearly visible at all times. (Any rag, bandana, shirt, or bright cloth of the correct color is acceptable). Hold your replica in a non-threatening manner, do not fire, and do not talk or interact with other players who are still active in the game.
- Ricochet BBs do not count as hits.
- Hits to your replica do not count as hits.
- When in doubt about a hit, call yourself out.
SAFETY KILLS
When you are too close in range to be comfortable taking a shot, you can call out "SAFETY KILL" on the player in your sights. Any clean shots with no cover under 30 feet are good candidates for safety kills. Do not call it unless the kill is already a given. Always honor safety kills when they are called on you just like honoring a "HIT". Safety kills can only be called on one individual at a time, not on entire groups. "SAFETY KILL" must be said loudly, as to simulate actually firing. Silence can only be maintained if you can tag the other player out. You must be able to point your replica and call "SAFETY KILL" on every person if there is more than one.
SNIPER SAFETY
Anyone acting as a sniper with an upgraded bolt action rifle over 400 fps (1.5j) should carry a sidearm that can be used alternately when engaging targets closer than about 60 feet. If you have no sidearm and find yourself too close to the opposing force, you may either a) call a safety kill, b) wait until they move to a safe range or c) relocate to a safe range. Do not fire at targets closer than 60 feet.
BLIND MAN
This is called whenever a non-player enters the battlefield, or when a player enters the battlefield without eye protection. All players are expected to echo blind man so that everyone on the field hears it, and upon hearing it each player is expected to sit down and wait until "Game on" is called to continue the game. If necessary, game coordinators will explain the game to the non-participants.
IF LOCAL POLICE ENTER THE FIELD
This is a potentially dangerous situation, and is treated as if they don't know we are playing a game. All players are expected to walk to the dead-pool in plain sight, either with their guns over their head or leaving their guns in the field. Upon reaching the dead-pool each player is to place his replica with his gear and gather in a group at least 20 feet from the gear. This is to provide safety by comforting the officers by removing any equipment that appears threatening to them. Game play is not commenced until we explain the situation and are allowed to continue.

Waivers:
Be prepared to fill out an Airsoft Ammo Supply and Titan 1 Tactical waiver - There is always confusion about "having a waiver on file". Titan 1 Tactical & Airsoft Ammo Supply requires a NEW waiver at every event. So this means that nobody "has a waiver on file" and everyone must fill out a new one. Sorry NO exceptions.
I have included the links listed below so that you may print them out at home/work and have them prepared before hand and ready to turn in when registering. This will greatly reduce the amount of time spent at the registration booth.

Game Play FAQ:
THERE WILL BE NO ALLIANCES!!!
How to capture a landmark flag:
Every faction will have a pre-designated colored small flag. These flags will be located at every designated landmark.
To capture a landmark you place your factions colored flag in the flag holder at the landmark. If your factions flag is still in the holder at the end of the round you will capture that landmark and those points will be awarded to your faction.
How to capture a base flag:
By stealing a faction’s base flag and returning it to your base. In the event you are killed during this process, you need to stand the flag on its base and return to your factions base to re-spawn. Now at this point, the flag is eligible to be captured by any faction or reclaimed and brought back to the faction’s base from which it was taken from. Once a base flag is captured and returned to an opposing factions base that flag is no longer in play until the next round. A faction does not earn points for reclaiming their flag and safely returning it to their base and please note in this situation the flag is still in play unless captured and returned to an opposing faction’s base.
How to earn points:
Your faction will be awarded points at the END of each round, meaning, fight and hold what you take. Whoever’s flag is in the flag holder at the designated landmark at the end of the round will receive those points. Any base flags captured will be awarded. Any warlords captured will be awarded. Any items retrieved will be awarded.
Capturing Warlords:
Leadership roles (The Warlords/US Commander) are the only prisoners you may capture*.
*Capture enemy faction leaders by wounding them in the field of battle (shooting them as normal).
Warlord after being shot will loudly yell "warlord hit" and then drop a ball with a orange ribbon tied to it (in the spot they were shot) and return to their base to re-spawn.
Warlord "ball game":
This dropped ball will have a number on it and the point value corresponding to ball will be at the admin station (only admin know the point value) this point value will be verified and awarded at the end of the round. The point values for these balls will be randomly chosen before the start of the game from pre-designated list by admin. Only the teams opposite of the warlord can collect points for retrieving ball. Warlords team that reclaims ball will not gain any points from reclaiming it however they do keep the other teams from collecting the points.
There is only one ball per play per round, per warlord. However warlord will repeatedly yell "warlord hit" each time after if shot for duration of round.
NOTE: It's very important that players play close attention to a warlords yell to either attack area to attain ball or defend area and retrieve ball. Think of this as a fumble in a football game. This is a live ball in play.
Attaining Ball:
First player from opposing factions to successfully reach ball without being hit will have successfully attained ball. This player then is immediately considered "DEAD" and returns immediately to the base to put ball in collection area and then can re-spawn according to 5 man re-spawn rules. Ball is out of play for duration of round.
Retrieving Ball:
First player from the warlord’s faction to successfully reach ball without being hit will have successfully retrieved ball. This player then is immediately considered "DEAD" and returns immediately to their base to put ball in collection area and then can re-spawn according to 5 man re-spawn rules. Ball is out of play for duration of the round.
Vehicles Allowed:
NO.
The field rule is that an admin must drive the vehicle. Unfortunately we do not have enough admins to adequately staff the field and multiple vehicles. I'm also uncomfortable using them with the possible damage they might incur and I am unsure if the insurance would cover this type of action anyways.
Rounds – Time Limits:
Round 1: 1 hour
Round 2: 1 hour
Round 3: 40 minutes
Are there breaks between each round?
Yes. There are 20 minute breaks after Round 1 and Round 2.
This gives you enough time to eat, drink, resupply, receive orders, etc.
All players must leave the game play area and return to registration area as we reset the field.
Re-spawn Rules
When shot you must go back all the way to your base to your designated re-spawn area.
-5 man re-spawn rule is in effect. If players do not abide by these rules, or choose not to move back to their spawn point prior to re-spawning will be removed from the event and kicked out for the day.
-Enemy Combatants may not camp the re-spawn area. If you are found to be camping an enemy re-spawn location, you will be removed from the field and kicked for the day.
Grenade Rules
Grenade* rules are in play for areas such as trenches and/or structures**
*Grenade is defined in Faction Wars as a Nerf howler/rocket, tennis balls, and racquet ball.
**Structure is defined in Faction Wars as an area with minimum 3 walls connected to each other.
Throwing a grenade into a room (window/doorway) and landing/rest inside the room, kills all occupants in said room (only the room it rests in). All occupants are automatically dead except warlord. All occupants except warlord must return to their base re-spawn (warlord capture in effect at this point).
Throwing a grenade into a trench and landing/rest in trench kills all occupants in said trench (only the trench it rests in). All occupants are automatically dead except warlord. All occupants except warlord must return to their base re-spawn (warlord capture rule in effect at this point).
