Tournament Info

Digital Wars II is a three phase tournament consisting of scenarios based on the following concepts:

1.) Close Quarters Combat (CQC)
2.) Reconnaissance (Scout Sniper)
3.) Assault (Outdoor combat)

Each phase will be hosted on different days. In short, 3 ops on 3 different days. each op worth a said amount of point. Team with the most point at the end of the 3rd op will win 1st place.... 2nd place 3rd.

Digital Wars II point system:

Objective points

Each objective is worth up to 3 points. Objective points are scored based on the following concepts:

1.) Completion of objective. (Did your squad complete the objective.)
2.) Leadership (Did your squad show Team work, cohesion and a tactical mind set.)
3.) Survival (Did your squad survive as a whole)

For example, if BROVO Squad is given the objective to clear a room and does so showing good team work and clears the room successfully but looses a squad member in the process.

They would receive 2 objective points.

There are a total of 40 points that can be earned in Digital Wars II 7 of these points are bonus points. Bonus point objectives will be given during mission briefings right before the event. The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will win. In the event of a tie we will hold a 4th tie breaking event to be disclosed at the end of the tournament.

Teams competing in this tournament will be placed in to extreme situations testing not only there combat skills but also their leadership and tactical abilities. This event is not for the weak hearted, realistic props, explosions and violent situations will stress players to their breaking points. Actors for this event will follow a set list of parameters based on their interactions with teams and the tactics they employ. A combat Videographer will be embedded in to each team. These individuals will move and interact with each team like an additional squad member. Videographers will not be using any bright or distinguishing marks and do not take hits. This ensures that every team will get equal media exposure in the DVD that will be released after the event. We will also use this footage for administrative purposes. [/color]

-Teams must have at least 6 players and a max of 8 to compete. (8 players is recommended)

-Teams will be separated by colored arm bands.

Weapon or magazine restrictions in this event:

- CQC 330fps limits no C-magz for phase 1.

-Each team will must have 1 Sniper, 1 spotter and a digital camera for phase 2.

-Each team is allowed 1 support weapon (M249, RPK…..) for phase 3 (No Snipers or bolt action rifles)

Phase 3 operation: Armageddon II

Armageddon II is an all out assault on an enemy held territory. Players should be prepared for a long day of combat. Players must pack any gear they intend to play. Players will not be allowed to return to their cars unless they are leaving or the game is over. NO EXEPTIONS. Teams will be placed on a battle line and engage enemy forces throughout the day. Each team will be called on to complete specific objectives. Every team will get a chance at completing the following objectives:

1.) Taking out a fixed hard target.
2.) Destroying a heavily guarded story specific target.
3.) Capture and safe extraction of VIPS.

While on the main battle line teams will be scored on the following concepts:

1.) Taking ground from the enemy.
2.) Holding Taken ground from the enemy.
3.) Safe extraction of friendly forces.

Phase 3 operation: Armageddon II is worth a total of 20 points. (2 bonus points)
