This is a combat marksmanship class, geared toward combat sight picture acquisition, tactical reloads. This class will be based of of US Marines' combat marksmanship training.
The class is two days long, beginning with the first slot on Saturday at 0900, and the second day will begin at 1000 and end at 1400 to allow for time to suit up and prepare for the skirmish.
The classes on day one will be an hour and a half to two hours, covering the basics of iron sight usage, proper sight picture and alignment for close and long range, and tactical reloads and speed reloads, with practice time included on targets.
Day Two will cover advanced techniques like target acquisition and fire while maneuvering, and low visibility target acquisition.
In this class, you will need your rifle/carbine with sling, at least six standard or midcap magazines, your LBV and a water supply. Boots are also required, as is BIO ammunition. This class does not cover pistol training, so bringing one is not required, but if we have extra time we might work on rifle to pistol transition, and pistol sight picture.
The class will cost 15 dollars, 20 if you want to participate in the skirmish afterwards...
