I made a commitment 2 years ago to be there at ABT and try to get a Airsoft Field going ,I dont think just cuz some one else has an Event that I should let the people that relye on me down / Don't start a Pissing match Johnboy thats not what this is all about. There is enough to go for all and if you dont want to come to my game fine. But dont try to start a rivary here, thats not going to help anyone

Not at all, John Boy. I will defend ABT on this one. SOTA has played at ABT regularly for the better part of two years, and the ABT guys are great people. Hugh and Bill aren't the kind of guys to go pissing in other people's cheerios, and I respect that ABT has made their field consistently available even when larger games are going on, because it gives an alternative to people that aren't old enough/can't afford/can't get a ride to the other games. They aren't trying to siphon people away from the larger games, they are instead providing a field and a game to people who wouldn't be able to make the other ones anyway.

not in any way... what X and the guys at ABT are doing is really good, and even if it is on the day as a big event X is stickin to his word which means a lot, i know personally i can't make most of these big ops but i know i can go have a great time at ABT

ABT needs to go to more NON ABT events....promting thier field and letting people know who they are.


Huge and bill, you know i love you both, but you need to be more proactive in promoting your field. you need more pics of games at your field, to show people having fun there. you need to learn how to better post the upcomming events at your field. and these are just the simple things you need to be doing. you are definately not doing your best to get this done. you want to see more turn out at your field, this is what it will take to make it happen. it might mean you have to sit out from playing for a day and just go out with a camera. if the status quo continues.....you will see more people going to other events, plain and simple.

both alex and i have offered to help you in this manner, you have not followed up.

No doubt KaBaar thats true but right now I've been doing the fixing the permoting the pulling the team together , the sewing the photo taking , The Crapper maintence and still tryin to keep it simple for that kid who just got a new gun, along with that old timer that wants that Mil Sim / It's a little overwhelming at times I've been trying to make the field so that you could have a good rough game at the same time still feel safe to bring up your family and camp. It's alot and I've been slowly moving forward but somtimes its a little frustrating and just because I haven't showed intrest in others ideas does not mean that they'r ideas are not welcome infact all help and comments are very welcome as long as they don't distract from my goal of having a safe fun place to bring your friends and family to play Airsoft and camp Hopefully this Spring will bring a bit more help and we will expand to our potential

ABT has a lot of regular players that aren't a part of Airsoft Pacific, that play as often as every weekend.

I really doubt X is trying to "Counter" Santa wars. It's just that most of those regulars will be there on the thirteenth, so ABT might as well post here that they'll be playing.

If you made commitment two years ago. Then you should posted this not at Wed Dec 10, 2008 4:30 pm today, but four to five months ago. I stand by my statement. I am not trying to get into a pissing match, but you should posted this months ago not today.
It is a little funny that this popped up today. Can you see it?
Maybe next time plan ahead a few months.
Especially, countering a charity event, that has been in operation for three years now, that is doing some good for those outside of our community.

ABT routinely holds games, every weekend. Usually, Hugh posts about it a week or two in advance. Again, this is a small game close to Vancouver for people that couldn't otherwise attend Santa Wars. IT ISN'T DETRACTING from that event, because it is targeted at people who COULDN'T GO ANYWAY.
