Scappoose Skirmish: Sunday, August 17th
Date: Sunday, August 17th
Where: Scappoose Field
Start Time: 1000
Everyone please show up early enough to be geared up and ready to go at 1000, do not show up to the field at 1000, you just end up holding everyone else up from starting the game.
Lets see if we can get a better turnout for Sunday instead of Saturday
Just as before, this will be a Force on Force game. Teams to be determined based on BDU and divided at game briefing.
NO DRUM MAGS EXCEPT ON PRE-APPROVED LMG WEAPONS. LMG weapons such as: M249, M60, RPK, MG36 etc
If you have an LMG conversion from an AEG, the conversion must be atleast 90% complete, and I strongly suggest you contact me for pre-approval on any LMG conversions to ensure they meet the requirements.
All Standard AP safety rules and FPS limits are inplace.
Everyone please make sure you bring a deathrag, its only going to save you the trouble of getting yourself shot even after you are "killed" and already out of play.
Any questions should be asked directly via PM. I do not spend too much time on the forums, and though I will check the game thread periodically I can honestly say that I will not sit here and read through all the usual BS chatter that goes on in the forums. So if you have a question, it should be posed directly to me via PM. You will get a responce that way.
Please make sure you check this post from time to time to check for any changes or additions.
Hopefully the responce will be more favorable for having the game on sunday instead of saturday. If the expected turnout is going to be low again, I will be forced to again, reshedule the game. So if you post on the thread that you will be attending the game, it will matter to me. I will be watching to see what the anticipated game turnout will be.

Directions to the Scappoose Field
Take HWY 30 all the way into Scappoose, past Fred Meyer and the red Peace
Candle, past the school, through downtown etc.
Take a left at the light for Scappoose-Vernonia Hwy .
Take that all the way to Cater Rd, and take a right. The right turn is a pretty
sharp one, so it's kind of distinctive. There's also a sign a few hundred feet
before the turn that announces the road name before you get there.
From Cater Rd, slow down (since you're in a neighborhood), and take a left onto
Alder Creek Rd. There's a house on the corner with a very simple wood-pole fence
for visual reference. It should be the first or second turn after you get onto
Cater Rd.
When on Alder Creek, be careful driving. Be respectful of those living in this
area. Follow Alder Creek Rd all the way, there are a few twists and turns, but
it's nothing you can figure out if your eyes are open. You'll know you're going
the right way when the road goes to one-lane (and there's a sign designating
this), and when you see large pipes and broken down trucks along the sides of
the road. Keep going, the road goes to gravel and you're almost there.
Follow the gravel until you see everyone, and find a spot on the side of the
road to park.
