PTOC: CQB Competition UPDATE

PTOC: CQB Competition UPDATE

Date and time to be announced: Will be in January

PTOC will host our first of many CQB competitions. This will be a blend of Full immersion / Force on Force Tactical Simulations.

Fire teams will be a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 operators.
Teams larger than 12 are welcome to break into multiple fireteams.

This will most likely be a two day event depending on attendance.
30,000 square feet of our 50,000 facility will be in full use.

Organized teams will be put to the test. Single operators that can assemble fireteams of 6 to 12 are also encouraged to participate.

Intel will be updated regularly as we get closer to the event.

UPDATE:

Revolver Media joins the developement team for our event. The whole even will be recorded in HD, edited and condensed into a DVD for reviewing.

The scenario has been written, and casting will begin soon.

There will be a small group of training sessions offered between now and the event date. They will be classes facilitated by professionals or former professionals who specialized in certain skillsets that will make excellent tools specific to this scenario. Attendance to these classes will give your team the edge in the competition, however the classes are not required in order to successfully complete your mission.

More specific operational details will follow by the end of the week.

FYI,

The facility will not be complete for this competition, it will be modified, and this competition will happen during our soft opening. However the layout will be nothing like it is today.

It will contain both. There will be multiple scenarios. some will be force against actors and will be completely interactive with multiple possible outcomes.

Other scenarios will be force on force mission based scenarios.

We will update details as we get closer to the time.

I wasnt expecting people to get excited about this with no details, but I would suspend the negative nancy stuff until you are sure you know exactly what you are talking about.

Granted, I am not going to claim perfection without a hitch the first time. But I promise People will get what they are coming for.

How about this, since we have no dates, no prices, and no details, and have not disclosed our affiliates, Can we please try not to make it look like you want us to fail? Because that is what it really looks like from here.

We do our best to generate excitement to our customers about all events posted on AP. ALL OF THEM.

I am not asking you to try to spread excitement, but do we have to be negative?
