Black Sierra Productions presents:

WHAT: BSP RANGER SCHOOL Class 1001
WHERE: BANKS, OR
WHEN: MAY 30- JUNE 1 2008
WHO: Ages 16+
PRICE: $30

WHAT IS THE BSP RANGER SCHOOL?
The BSP RANGER SCHOOL is designed for anyone who wishes to polish their leadership skills. This class is based off the concept of the US Army’s Ranger school, using the tools that they teach at the school including warning orders, operations orders, fragmentation orders. The school also teaches troop leading procedures and how to conduct a mission from beginning to end. The courses that we offer will develop the leader’s ability to lead his men on a successful mission utilizing the same tools used by Army Leaders.

WHEN IS THE BSP RANGER SCHOOL
The class is Friday night May 30th through to Sunday morning June 1st. Friday night will be administrative time to help put the finishing touches on the students OP-ORDER. Saturday will be squad missions followed by Sunday morning being a plt mission with awards and then clean up.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE BSP RANGER SCHOOL?
Each student will be given a Operations order one week prior to the weekend to allow time for him to develop the missions OP-ORDER. He will then give the OP-ORDER to his class mates and conduct the mission as the leader during the weekend. All students are required to bring all items on the packing list and have functioning equipment and airsoft gun. Upon reservation a e-mail will be sent with the time line, packing list and the weekend’s operations order. One week prior a squad break out will be sent along with your Op-order.

REGISTRATION FOR THE BSP RANGER SCHOOL

We currently have 18 slots for the BSP RANGER SCHOOL. If more people are interested in attending we can add a third squad to the school. Students will be assigned to a squad of nine.

Will this be just during the day or will the training go into the nights? Even round the clock?

> WHAT: BSP RANGER SCHOOL Class 1001
Class 1001 or did you mean 101?

Will we get guidance on how to create OP-ORDERS before the class?

Any military manuals we need to read up on before the class?

1001 is this class number and next session will be 1002, and then 1003, and so on and so forth.

Successful completion will get you a Ranger Challenge tab.

This course will begin Friday night and will go into Sunday morning. That means you will be out there for two so bring food, water, etc. Instructor Kerr will email you a list when you register.

If you guys have questions, post them in the Ranger School thread and Kerr will respond.

I’ve had quite a few questions on what the Ranger challenge class would cover and how it was going to be conducted so I thought I might answer some of the questions and give you guys a better idea of what we will be teaching you. The idea of this class is to give the students the tools and the opportunity to lead fellow team mates on missions and increase the likely hood of success. Friday were going to have a camp fire and a few informal classes on leading and operations orders and how to make a mission successful. The question here is can we bring alcohol and the answer is yes on Friday night and only Friday you guys can drink but do it smartly. You will have a long day ahead of you. Then Saturday kicks off and we go kick op-for a$$ while conducting approximately 10 missions. We will even have artillery to help obliterate the enemy. The missions are raid, ambush, recon. All the missions build on each other leading up to one climactic final mission. This is a great mil-sim/ leadership event and those that want to have that total emersion will defiantly get it here. Remember this is no intended on being a smoker. Were not here to make you miserable were here to make you better. But don’t be fooled you will sleep soundly at night. Any other questions please ask. I hope to see you there.
