Operation Threshhold - Oct 29 - Colville, WA

Postby Norseman » Mon Sep 26, 2005 4:15 pm

An alien epidemic is on the loose, and the Threshhold team is taking down a military academy to try and stop it!

This one is at the dome guys..............on Oct. 29th, and is based on the hit series "Threshhold".

The Scenario will consist of two teams:

The first team will be Navy Seals operating under the National Security Council. Uniform will be black.

The second team are military cadets, infected by the alien "virus". Uniform will be woodland bdu's or woodland marpat bdu's.

The primary objective of the mission for the NSC is to STOP the releasing of the alien program to the 33% of our nation's population via mass email.

The objective of the infectee's is obviously to broadcast that email...........at ALL costs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the rules:

This one is going to be primarily a night game, so bring/buy your tracer units!!!! You are not required to run tracer bb's BUT it is HIGHLY suggested! ALSO, if you DO NOT have a tracer unit you MUST have a Tac light on at all times (which sucks for you).

Iam going to limit it to 350 fps INDOORS, if you are shooting 400 fps you will not be able to fire your weapon inside. I know this puts a kink in some peoples plans, but I feel that its a serious safety issue since it is at night. (Buy a M100 spring!)

Secondly Iam going to require balaclava's, Gunny did this over at his CQC 2 event and I liked this idea alot. And if you want added protection buy a football mouthguard.................I dont want to lose any teeth up there people. And of course ANSI rated SEALED eye protection.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, I will check with the DNR about the Floedelle creek campground. Obviously we are going to get tired and need a place to crash. Its at the botttom of the hill, a VERY nice campground and has suited our needs perfectly in the past.

PM me to let me know if your coming and what side you want to be on, or email me at wmoss@plix.com.

I also HIGHLY suggest you watch the series, as on the 17th of Oct. Iam going to throw some "special abilities" rules at you.

Iam giving out awards at this event as well.

Added to the calendar, also changed the subject line to better fit the format.

And, sounds FUN! I'm in! Who wants to go with me? 3 spots open in my car.

So I'm assuming we show up midday on the 29th, play that night, sleep, and leave on the 30th?

i am currently working the shedule over with the team since wade (norseman) is hunting. We are working out a day game that ties into the night game as well. We will have a more detailed game plan here soon.

Introduction:

Reports from an advanced mountaineering Cadet trainings school is that there is unusual activity and contact has been lost with the school. There are reports that lead the investigating team, under the Home Land Security Department charter by George W. Bush code named THRESHOLD, to believe there is a serious situation.

Reports from the local media and eyewitness indicate that one week before there was a strange brilliant light in the vicinity of the Cadet training school. Due to the nature of the program offered by the school, outside contact is kept to an absolute minimum. The local or state offices performed no further investigation.

Two days ago a single student from the School was found wondering on a State Land fire access road. His skin was covered with boils and he was in a state of shock. He was taken to a medical center when the Department of Health contacted the HSD. The student was taken to a secure location and treatment was attempted. The assessment is that he was not compatible with the microwave DNA re-sequencing by the alien audio tone and his body is breaking down, cell by cell.

What could be ascertained from the interview was the school is attempting to send out a simplified DNA re-sequencing audio tone via the computer. It is the assessment of the Threshold team that this will be done via an email sent from the school. Because of the security of the school is tied in directly with the Nuclear Event Early Warning System (NEEWS – pronounced Nuse) the computer systems can not be directly blocked and any snooping software is ineffective against the NEEWS’ protective hardware.

An Ops team must be sent in to shut down the school before this is sent. There have been several reports over the last 3 hours of direct hardware and software attacks against the NEEWS system. It is only a matter of time before a hard line is established at the school and the email is sent.

Matt-

Which side do you guys want to be?

The Seal team will be dressed in Blk watch caps, and all black uniforms.

The Cadets are either woodland or woodland marpat.

Can you get me a running tally of how many of you are coming as well?

Thanks, Wade
