Might be an obvious question...but why is he doing pushups?

I do my own fair share of pushups...that image doesnt really entice me to come :D

At TTC 1, the class began with a little warm up stretching etc to lower the possibilty of injury.

The image was used to typify the type of individual that comes to these courses. Dedicated, motivated, and a willingness to learn.

The people don't get "smoked" for making mistakes at the events in general, if it is, it is an accepted detail from all sides.

These courses are not a "suck-fest", they are designed to improve the skills of the participants so they can go back to their respective teams and improve their tool box.

To expediate any questions you may have go HERE. Trying to consolidate like questions for the benifit of students and instructors alike.

This will be set to a military mind set, but as Youngblood stated, it will not be a suck-fest. Physical correction will be generally up to the "team leader". If I feel the need to drop someone, and if they want to listen to me, you can be assured I will be pushing with you. If I am unwilling to do the excersize how can I expect you to? Besides, most of you are not in the military and may not be in the best shape, your welfare is first on our minds.

The doctrine from the MOUT school is the real stuff. We have a scoring criteria that rewards people who can balance the triangle and get the job done.

Whether or not you show up BSP training events has little to do with your ability to reach the podium, but for many participants, this is their only outlet to get proper training in a motivated environment.

These BSP training events are great. They are geared toward the more serious mil-sim player though, so they are not for everyone. I know that they are a great tool and you do learn a lot from them though.

That is what real professional instructors will do that teach this outside of airsoft as well, and not only that but also do what they teach in real life. The BSP events are a different level of airsoft I think.

BSP events have my full support, I freaking ALWAYS enjoy myself. (I willingly do push ups and sit ups because I should/need to)

Doesn't matter Gino. We'll keep teams together..and singles will work together too.

This is a learning environment. Everyone will get a LOT of solid instruction.

You can come as a team or as a single operator. Makes no difference :D
