WEAPONS AND SAFETY
1. Always wear eye protection in the form of goggles, or masks that seal around the face.
2. Never remove your eye protection while on the field.
3. Regular prescription glasses are NOT acceptable as safety eyewear.
4. Eyewear must meet ANSI Z87.1 standards and wrap around the eyes.
5. Do not point your replica at anyone unless you are involved in a game on the battlefield and intend to shoot them.
6. Do not fire at any person without proper eye protection.
7. Do not fire at non-participants, including animals or private property.
8. Leave real steel firearms at home! Real steel and Airsoft DO NOT MIX .
9. No edged weapon or tool may be used for combat purposes.
10. DO NOT FIRE AT TARGETS CLOSER THEN 25 feet
STANDARD FPS LIMITS:
1. Chronographs are used before games to test all replicas present.
2. Any replicas that test too high will not be allowed in play.
3. No exceptions will be made, please research upgrades and how they effect your replica before purchasing or installing them.
4. All of the following velocity limits are with .2g BB’s. All limits Measured with .20g Plastic Airsoft BB’s
a. Fully/Semi Automatics (including SAWS) - 400 fps (1.5j)
b. Sniper Rifles (Bolt Action ONLY) - 550 FPS (2.8j)
5. Bring your own Magazine for chrono
6. BBs will be provided
7. Event staff will conduct the Chronograph
8. ALL ROCKET LAUNCHERS must be approved by Chrono Staff as safe.
SNIPER SAFETY
1. Anyone acting as a sniper with an upgraded bolt action rifle over 400 fps (1.5j) should carry a sidearm that can be used alternately when engaging targets closer than about 60 feet.
2. If you have no sidearm and find yourself too close to the opposing force, you may either
a. call a BANG BANG kill
b. wait until they move to a safe range
c. relocate to a safe range.
3. Do not fire at targets closer than 60 feet.
BANG BANG RULES
If you encounter a player closer then 25 feet, you may "BANG BANG" kill them by yelling out "BANG BANG" loudly! BANG BANG kills are not a TACTIC, they are a safety measure. You are not simulating a "knife kill" or "silent kill" you are providing a courtesy to the player you are shooting. O r Yell safety Kill
SNIPER RULES
1. Snipers MUST HAVE A SPOTTER. Lone snipers will not be accepted at the event.
2. Sniper teams MUST HAVE A RADIO.
3. Snipers major role is COMMUNICATION and RECON.
4. Snipers secondary role is to take out SPECIFIC TARGETS that must be approved through chain of command - READ: NO TARGETS OF OPPORTUNITY
HITS AND REGEN RULES
HITS
1. Call only your own hits.
2. A bb striking any part of your body or gear is a hit.
3. Bbs that ricochet offer other surfaces (players, trees) are not hits.
4. If you think you are hit then you are.
5. Any calling of other players hits, argument over hits or other unsportsmanlike conduct will result in all parties being declared dead by a Battlesim OC.
6. If at any time a Battlesim OC tells you are hit proceed to your regen area.
7. All players must have a red cloth “dead ragâ€
