Anything that's NOT WOODLAND works for Allies.

Introducing the AID STATION

Postby ZEUS » Fri Jan 12, 2007 4:19 pm

Everyone attending the OP should read this.

This will be an ADDITION TO and NOT A REPLACEMENT for our standard medic rules.

Each team (one for Allied and One for Taliban) will be given a portable AID STATION. This aid station will be in the form of a two man type tent.

Think of the AID STATION as a portable respawn point. However, the BIG difference between it and a normal respawn is that it is required to be manned at all times by a MEDIC, and it will LIMITED to the respawns it can give by the bandaids it contains. Each AID STATION will be supplied a certain number of bandaids at the begining of each mission round based upon the number of people on that team.

Field medics will use this AID STATION to re-suppply themselves with bandaids during a mission. MEDICS CAN ONLY TAKE BANDAIDS FROM THE AID STATION, they CANNOT ADD TO THE STATION.

Heres how it works IN GAME.

You get hit, and follow the normal rules regarding calling hits and waiting 5 minutes for a medic. (standard stuff)

If and when no Medic arrives you can either

A) Go to the normal respawn point and respawn as usual. or
B) Head to the AID STATION and enter the tent to be treated by a Medic. (band aid will be applied)
C) OR Another player can WALK you to the aid station. (same as walking you to the medic.) even BEFORE YOUR 5 MINUTES IS UP.

When a player enters the tent he will be safe from enemy fire. The MEDIC will apply the bandage and you will return to action upon exiting the tent. You MUST LEAVE THE TENT IMMEDIATLY AFTER BEING TREATED.
ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN THE TENT AT ONCE. The Medic and ONE patient.

TENTS AND THIER CONTENTS CAN BE CAPTURED and used by the other team. SO YOU MUST KEEP IT SECURE AT ALL TIMES. If your team captures an AID STATION you must call a SAFETY KILL ON THE MEDIC INSIDE. NO FIRING DIRECTLY INTO THE TENT. The medic can not fire from inside the AID STATION either. But he can when he is COMPLETELY outside the AID STATION. A grenade can also be used to take out an AID STATION if it lands INSIDE.

AID STATION will have a colored flag next to them to let people know which team controls that AID STATION

The only person that can move the AID STATION will be a MEDIC and a helper of the Medics choosing.
The AID STATION (tent) will NOT have to be taken apart to be moved.

If an AID STATION is under attack, it would be wise to get it the hell outa there... Its up to the teams leadership to determine where to deploy and re-deploy the AID STATIONS.

This is a new wrinkle, so if you have any clarifying questions, please ask here.

Thanks

ZEUS: From your wording I assume that any medic may man/move/etc the Aid Station, not just one medic assigned to the Station.

Vortex: The english language has punctuation for a reason, please use it.
