Hate to ask here, but you guys are open every Sunday, correct?
It so is a great place to play!!!! But no there aren't enough players at once to justify being open every Sunday. It is open by appointment, for hosted games(pm me here if you are interested), training sessions and of course for our team training (it is a GREAT time to be Team Terror!). In the future (hopefully sooner rather than later) as people hear about it we will be able to open on certain weekends, something like the first and third weekends of the month every month. On those weekends you will have the choice of "organized" games and free play.
We, Team Terror, had the chance to play in the Saturday game and found it to be an extremely challenging field but doable if you know your shit and have GIGANTIC BALLS!! This field is growing all the time, has 1000's of feet of structures already built with a butt load more being built this weekend, has too many ways in and out of each area which is bad for you if you are one of the many camper style airsofters(except the castle--that phony pony is a mofo to attack), plenty of room to move your squad, plenty of cover and concealment for you to show how well your team really knows how to move under fire etc etc. This is not the basic field where you hide behind trees all day. The field goes from densely wooded areas (the 'Nam area not shown) to sparsly covered areas that you need to have organized cover fire to make it through, to urban areas complete with vehicles(sorry we didnt get pics of the H3 making an armored car run on the Somalia area Saturday), to prison camp style areas complete with barbed wire, tiny houches and soon to be built guard towers
(look for our prison break team competition series soon to come
).
I know of no better easily accessible place to cross train your team. Where else can you go from the woods to the paved roads to an urban CQC environment back out a differnent direction into a different set of challenges etc etc. This field will be the best place to play organized airsoft around. The pics you see here show a little better than half of the field and none show all of the urban areas and random forts scattered throughout the field.
