We bought a unit of plywood(check your local hardware store for the price of this crap as i am still too pissed about the cost of this shit to speak the actual dollar amount,
and my wife might be reading this
) and half a unit of 2x4's (as well as 300 bucks in screws and nails and straps) carried it down 5 floors and installed it all in areas that would be off limits. we do not believe some paint on a door or some caution tape is enough so we made it physically impossible to go where you are not allowed. We did have to leave early though as the owners all wheel drive minivan he rented kept getting stuck in the snow, our Avalanche did not have too much of a problem though. Anyway we are going back to finish some work at the base on the 22nd and we will be there untill the end of the game.
we are also going to install red spinning lights and a sound system so everyone in the base will know when the bad guys are starting the missile fueling sequence! this is going to be some good times in 55 degree dry weather 50ft below ground. come on out and enjoy a historic airsoft event!
we have been picking up some sponsors to by the way... RAP4 was the latest to sign on with hats and t-shirts, we have been given a stack of bb's that we will either raffle off or just give out to every player and some other really cool stuff.
remember guys this is a next level playfield so bring your best game
and finally I want to personally thank the owner Bari Hotchkiss for having the balls and sense of adventure needed to allow us to do this. And also for having our back when other airsoft event promoters show interest in using the base for games. we have a legal contract for
exclusive airsoft rights when it comes to the base. So if anyone has a sound, profitable and doable idea for usage of the base contact myself, Steve, at 360-907-9109 directly or e-mail
scott@wildboararmory.com. we are open to considering other business besides airsoft as well
