I also was wondering why would one team get 3 snipers and the other team get 1 (this is what ive been told)

i hope woodland gear wont be an issue if on delta, my vest is woodland with tri color pouches, so i dont see an issue.

I'm sure Angelo is doing it for a reason, he won't make things unbalanced.

Woodland gear will not be an issue as long as you have the required BDU color. Most of Delta is running woodland, MARPAT or flectard.

Most of Delta is running OD, MARPAT or flectard.

okay...i have read there will be no snipers on the inside, i got a pm saying i have been one of the lucky few to be selected as a sniper( which is kewl! thx you host!) but.... i have been put on delta since all i have is marpat at the moment. so there in lies my problem...delta commander plz contact me, or the host and lemme know if i am still on delta and not a snipe or i am on delta and still a snipe...if that made sence respond , if it didnt...then try to shoot me! also on a side note i get no access to the delta thread...is it cause i suxxor??

The sniper for Delta has years of experiance with the trade and has been trained in his art by Gunny. If you're running with Delta, rent or borrow an AEG. If you want to be a sniper that badly, better borrow or buy some new BDUs.

well looks like the big boys wont let me play.... coulda swore i got a pm from hoff saying i was in as a sniper and on delta, he said ony three people applied and i was one of them...i guess i am wrong... i will bow out of this one gracefully then i guess.....i will NOT be attending, sorry guys! see ya at the next skirm

Hoff? What does Hoff have to do with it? You mean Angelo?

Yes, Angelo did allow for 3 spots for snipers on ALPHA and had them send in PMs to apply... However... Alpha Company CO decided to throw out all those snipers and choose their own. That's how it works. Welcome to mil-sim. Angelo probably should have left it for the CO to decide in the first place, but he was merely trying to help organize things. Sorry for the confusion.

so it is ok to still play if you have a bolt action?? in that case i could care less if i was a designated sniper, i just want to play with my team.

I think we need a clarificaion of this.

It is my understanding that there will be 4 bolt action replicas on the field that day. If you are not designated to employ this style of replica you will not.

If I am incorrect we need clarification ASAP.

If you have a bolt and are on Alpha and have not posted your kit then you should do so quickly.

There will be 1 sniper allowed per 12 man team for the OUTSIDE TEAM. The inside team is allowed only ONE SNIPER and that slot has been taken by SEAGREEN of APST. The outside commanders have final say on who thier snipers will be. But the limit will not be broken.

I have made this "unbalanced" decision based on if this were a real life situation. How many "snipers" would there be on a R&D and training base? None most likely, but I'm allowing one to provide "some" balance as SEAGREEN is one of the best sharpshooters out there.
