It's not rape if it was consensual.

As it was, I usually had to repeat myself twice and get a relay from another admin to get back to the admin tent. This made it somewhat difficult to disseminate rule modifications and player watches. Like Rick said in the main post, there's not a cadre of equipped "willing admins" out there, so we get what we get. I can probably scare up a bundle of 5W UHF radios if that's what it takes to get proper communications for the admins.

Mehdi ran a great radio net and I had communications from point 9 all the way back to the parking lot the whole game, with only a couple pockets of poor communication. But I am not going to divulge our secrets here 8) .

EDG's radio net was solid (at least between me and the XO...).

yeah comms was a huge problem even for Medhi, but it wasn't really that we coudn't communicate it was that not enough of us in the village had radios to call for support.
BTW EDG team I congratulate you guys on the yelling and the waves of guys attacking the village because that scared the hell out of me. first time I have been that scared in awhile

If I have no commitments on Thursday, I'll gladly come out and help with clean up. SniperzDen is my new favorite field and I'd hate to see it be banned from airsoft.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself on Saturday. Riddick hosts some of the most organized games that I've ever been to, and I would hate to see airsoft come to an end at SniperzDen because of a few irresponsible individuals. Unfortunately, I cannot come out on Thursday to aid with the clean up due to the fact that I'm getting my wisdom teeth out, but if clean up is ever needed again, I would gladly drive down to help. Thanks for hosting a great game Riddick, and I hope to make it to the next one.

I've recovered from the game and father's day is over so here are my thoughts......

Medhi. Great game. You guys brought it. Congratulations on your victory.

Dan. You brought your A game and out played me. Congratulations. SGT I salute you.

EDG. I said it during the leaders brief... no plan survives first contact and ours was no exception. Medhi drove a spear right through the center of our lines with that initial push to the log fort. It took us almost an hour and a half just to get the company back together and organize a counterattack. It happened, but the logistical support to our respawns prevented us from exploiting that momentum. Our loss is solely my responsibility and my fault. You guys did great.

Thank you all for your support and buy in on my philosophy and theories. We didn't win the game, but we worked hard, never gave up and played honorably. This was the first game I have played with the AP community where one side didn't quit and go home before it was over. EDG players that was because of you.

While I saw many great things from many great players I do have a few honorable mentions.....

1. Chesty and the crew from PF. Words cannot express how impressed I am with you guys. Not only are you great players, but you are great leaders. I enjoyed meeting and playing with every one of you.

2. Jester and PSC. You guys are selfless. You took an untried idea and worked it to the bone. You had no idea what you were agreeing to, but you were willing to try anyway. You guys were also flexible and Johnny on the spot. Thank you for your support and hard work.

3. The Rev. Every time I needed someone to motivate the guys and accomplish a task you were there. There were numerous times I would think, "I need another leader to help me with this," and you miraculously showed up. Brother I'll play with you anytime.

4. Variable. You were honest from the start by saying you weren't sure you could lead a platoon, but were willing to try. I'm here to tell you you can and you did!

5. 110 - the XO. You never gave up! You worked harder than anyone to get us on the field and then keep us there. You selflessly gave everything you had. You rarely fired your weapon and eventually gave it to someone who needed it more. You should seek out more leadership opportunities to challenge yourself and grow. You can be my XO anytime!

My visual highlight, and one etched in my memory, was of Pacman yelling at Bildo to stop firing the 60. Bildo was on one knee firing from the hip like Rambo. It was awesome! Bildo finally stopped long after Pacman gave up. He told us he couldn't hear over the sound of the gun. I think Bildo was just having to much fun and was ignoring Pacman.

Best firefight (for me) was the end of game hell mary to capture ACB #9 with Chesty, Jester, one of the squad leaders from PF, and an unknown player. (Sorry buddy. I should have taken a moment to introduce myself and learn your name. Shame on me.) Guys that was awesome and it prevented a shut out round at the end of the game.

On a personal level this has been a great opportunity. Yesterday was a win for me. I didn't lead to win games. I led to bring the community to a new level in leadership and accountability. Given the comments from LOWII and LOW III from both sides I'm considering my mission a success. I hope we as a community can build upon that and someone new can stand up, take charge for the next stretch, and improve on the things I couldn't.

P6 out.

Riddick,

You get a thread of your own. I've thoroughly enjoyed meeting you, talking with you, and playing in your events. The effort you put in to host these events does not go unnoticed by my guys or I. Haters will hate, but you bring it. Many players asked us this weekend if we attend any events up here. The answer is no! They just haven't figured it out up here yet. You have.

Your games progressively get better and better. This is the sign of someone who cares about the community and his business and always tries to find balance between the two. I have played a total of 8 games down there since I started in airsoft under two years ago and yours are always the best and never disappoint. I know every time I hand over my hard earned money I give it knowing I'm getting more than I paid for!

A happy and loyal customer for life....

Erik

Thanks for taking responsibility and remember in the future your example gives you no room to complain if someone responds in kind.

That's funny because I think you may have miss heard me, I never said mother f er. I said I have been playing airsoft longer then you have been alive..
I try my best to present myself in a calm and collected manner, its the other half of the guys out there that go beyond the limits and start calling people names. I have a ton of respect for the game and Airsoft pacific's community, I drove all the way down from Seattle with my uncle to play in this one and had no intentions on making a mockery of myself and other players in a community that I am a guest in..
I wouldn't be talking either because I heard you tell some teenager that was hanging on a tree branch at RezIII that he had better get off that tree or he would see your real steel. And with talk like that at an airsoft event can prove even a lesser image as to of what teenagers should be saying. So like I said next time you feel the urge to start yapping stop and think before you do!

thanks

You've been playing airsoft for over 40 years...? I think not. But all BS and 'mis-speaks' aside...

Pacman is one of the most respected players in this community, and would not have made a comment re: blind firing like that lightly. I was one of the admins, and if he had brought this to my attention as an admin when it happened, I would have sent you to respawn as a warning simply on his good word. It is to his credit as an honorable player that he chose to let it go.

It's a game...it's over...now it is a rant of "I said...You said..." let it go please.

Yeah man speaking of which that was Infidel. Props man you had us damn good! I saw you from far away, but I thought you were Medhi since my mesh made your Multicam pants look like Tan and you were wearing from what it looked like a OD softshell (maybe it was MARPAT, not sure). Plus you did the smart thing of holding your gun up and giving me a friendly wave. Oh well, next time we'll have to be a little more careful, since like Wombat said if you had a couple more guys you could have really messed us up at Point 9.

Thanks for the props guys. I want to point out I was not alone though. There was another guy by the name of Joe who I was with. He had dark ACU and a black Vest. I was wearing full MARPAT (to be fair it a lot of mud on it so I can totally understand why it would be hard to see who is who.) I had to jog all the way from the far east EDG respawn to my car because my primary went down. On our way back we figured it would be safest if we just tried to blend in and look non combative on our way back. Then we thought we might have some fun on our way around the village =). Thanks for your help Joe. Don’t know your AP name but it was great fighting with you.

(Im going to limit my self to Three things because I don’t THIS stuff to be over looked.)

Vehicles Rules posted on the doors sounds great and SAFE. I like vehicles and loved the X factor it brought to the game but the rules need to be clearer so we all stay safe while having fun.

Thank you so much for putting this on. Riddick, Admins and Leaders. It would have been complete chaos without you guys. I know games can’t be perfect but I really appreciate how much effort all of you guys put in to making this game great. You are awesome.

I found a P90 68 round mid cap. If it is yours, PM me the general area where you lost it or some other way of letting me KNOW its yours, and I will do my best to get it back to you.

Hey Pharaoh
That last fire fight was sure fun for me too as one of the guys attacking you. I had a great time rolling against you at the last possible minute of the game, glad to have you guys as opponents but hope to play on your side soon
