We are also announcing something big... So big in fact, that we needed a ladder to get to the top...

Can you say vehicle mounted missions?

Don't forget to like the Milsim Motor Pool Facebook page if you want to see more vehicle use in games:

Let's put it this way--for one of the scenarios I'm wearing full fire department gear as armor because I expect to get shot that much.

I have seen their work first hand, and used their products. They're all handmade, by Charles. Great guy, great product!

So we have a few updates about the field. These are direct from the field owner.

First off: there is an EXTREME fire risk, and as such, smokes, other pyro and fire pits are NOT allowed. We know that in the past, attendants brought an above ground fire pit. The field owner says that's a no go this year. BBQs are allowed in a self contained unit, but not in the orchards. Smoking is not allowed in the field. If you need a smoke, please do it on the gravel road.

Second: the field owner's insurance now requires face protection. This can be a mesh mask, paintball mask, shemagh, balaclava etc. It has to "lessen the impact to any orifice". If you want to use a t-shirt as a ninja mask, that's fine too.

Lastly: the harvest is coming in early and as such, there will be no playing or parking in the orchards. Camping is allowed in the orchards, but do NOT attach anything to the trees. Do NOT mess with the hazelnuts. They are the field owner's livelihood. If you see them on the ground, please leave them alone.

That's it! It's shaping up to be a great event! Hobo brothers bbq new offering is great! We got to try them at Ricks last event and they are delicious!

Any questions, please post up here. Remember to RSVP and make sure your friends do as well.

Soooo excited to be going this year, this will be my first summer slaughter question I will be camping but since there's no parking in the orchard, will I still be able to camp out of the back of my truck or do I need to find a way to get a tent

You can camp out the back of your truck, however you will not be parked in the orchard so you you will be away from your friends.

We need to bounce forward!!!! I'm in need of some trigger time! Leg is slowly getting better BUT I want to play with a few new toys I got on the field! Also going thru some of the stuff I don't use much and marking prices on them. Please don't be one of those guys that is selling and telling others to make offer! Any ways I'm looking forward to this and want to get out and play.
Every year you guys have a sniper hunt. I'm assuming it will happen again and can we include DMR guys as well since it wont be like 10 vs 200 plus? Just an idea.....

That's a possibility. We'll see what we can wrangle up on Saturday.

Expecting people to make an offer can be annoying, but (for me) half the fun of summer slaughter is getting to haggle with people selling stuff. It's like a sweaty, nerd bazaar. There's also times where people might pay more than what you originally planned on selling them for.

For the next hour or so, stop by the AP chat and ask us whatever you want about Summer Slaughter. Never been before and want to know more? Now is your chance.

I'm sure all 5 airsoft store vendors that will be there will have ammo. No RSVP required. But, specdet will not be selling ammo.
