I'd like to say thanks to the aid tent on hamburger hill for providing me and my GnG snipers with a continuous stream of targets. Had that not been there we would have had the hill. But if it wasn't there i would not have been able to shoot so many people.... so i guess it was a trade off.

Oh and to all the kiddos i sent mercilessly to their deaths in those insane charges.... i hope you learned something ;) Either move in on your own or i'll do it for you

Yeah, i was one of those guys you sent to their deaths. We kept getting more and more guys up there then finally charged.
Was there a SAW on hamburger for ISAF? Because unless i was lying on the ground, I would get flattened. There were BB's whizzing over my head the whole time.
Good times.

Replying to El Cheebo: Yes, Khe-san. Forgot the name. Btw, do you have my battery? Because i have zanes.

After this is finished, some of you may agree with me, some of you may want to start a flame war... whatever. I don't get on much to read posts any more....so I probably won't even see it. I don't have time for it. I do this for real and have a unit to push out to Iraq from now until the end of next month.

The event yesterday was by far my worst experience ever in Airsoft, bar none. The field, again, is not condusive for Airsoft. The "buildings" are shoddy, falling down and hastily setup. There were very few Admins on the field. Zeus did his best to keep running around and track down the ones that basically ruined it for myself and everyone I know.

I'm very dissapointed that I actually paid for this event. It was so poorly executed, that I left shortly after the start of the 2nd half. I, like many others, traveled quite a distance for this event. I even took 5 days of leave to ensure that I'd have the weekend off for it. So, after spending $130.00 in gas, $35.00 for my entry and traveling more than 160 miles both ways, I must say that I will never attend another event at Splat Action.

The quality of play that I've come to know and love, just isn't honored at that field. There was blatent cheating (on both sides), no organization, not enough Admin for the amount of players and the whole event was just a mirror of Grid 18, Siprot Ridge and all the other events that have been held there.

APST, I think you should step up and take a good hard look at the events you sponser/put on. Don't say you have no affiliation with the event as I've already heard through the grapevine, because you're not only posted this on the APST sponsored events forum, but you were also helping out with the crono and selling tickets etc.

That's about all I have to say. Say whatever you want... turn it into a flame war... I really don't care too much. Just remember one thing.... I got into this sport and out of paintball because of one thing...

The quality of the players on the field. I got tired of all the griping, whiping, cheating and everything else.

Please don't let this sport fall the way of Paintball.

Rick, speaking for myself I had no involvement in the planning of OP: SP.
The reason I ran the registration was simple, I worked for my entry fee.
Helping with the registration was the extent of my involvment in the OP. Other than killing people... I am sure that is the case for most of the other team members (who helped) on APST other than Matt and Angelo.

We had a SAW from DuneCorps, with one insane mofo squeezing the trigger. He seriously laughed like a maniac on a regular basis.

I'm very glad to hear that you guys were taking fire like hell, because we definitely were.

I'm guessing that the GnG (Gargoyle) Sniper Squad was creating the illusion that you guys had time to just sight in your rounds easily.

Next to the Aid Tent was funny shit. Get your bandage, get shot, repeat. Thats why I just bleeding booked it off the end of the hill and landed next to APST. One of the Raddues looked at me and said "Wow".

I had guys from my squad talking about getting close enough for hand to hand combat.

Rick,

APST does not put on events. AP does. That might not sound like there's a difference, but there is. Airsoft Pacific is a business. Airsoft Pacific Strike Team is sponsored by AP. Just to clarify.

With that said, I'm sorry to say that airsoft will become more and more like paintball. It's going mainstream and there's nothing we can do about it. 375 players showing up to a game is crazy. It's a sign that the old days are over. It's the dawning of a new age for airsoft and we must all evolve.

I'm just sorry that EATF does not show up to the CQC tournaments anymore. I believe it's the highest form of the sport. That's just my opinion though.

Zeus, thanks for a great OP. Had a lot of fun, and there was a lot of shooting going on.

Also thanks to Alex and the always jiggly TITS, great serving with you, and thanks to the three gentleman in 3 color desert I was shooting with on the foot of Hamburger Hill.

Best part- Round 2, in the second story of the big building of the Village, shooting the Talis standing around the outside of Khe San who didn't think we had range! M14 love! We didn't make extract alive, naturally.
