Fred, can you wait like, 3 or 4 weeks and then post some blurry ones with uncalibrated lighting?

Scythe, like Beran said, we had the one we were supposed to retrieve in starlog most of the second half of the game. We saw your weapon parade, and were more interested in not having you roll over our 10 guys with all that fire power. Hence the bolt action response to it. While you were still out of range. I don't think I've had so many rapid succession hits with that dumb rifle in a long time... also, the reason we left all that stuff there rather than try to go retrieve it.

Everyone I saw was behaving themselves and calling hits. I yelled at one guy for shooting me in the face rather than calling a safety, and he correctly informed that he was far enough away that a safety might have been considered a tool move on his part. My apologies to you who ever you were (slightly older gentleman) that was a good clean kill, just hackled me that I got face welted. That'll teach me to pull back when the dude watching my 6 gets whacked.

Yup! That was me.
I brought a couple other shamwows for my friends to wear... but they didn't want to. I still got shot a couple of times even with the thing drapping over my head. I guess everyone hates the shamwow guy, or shamwows in general, or at least I hope that is the case.

We still don't know who's side he was actually on. He told me he was ARNG and Maverick he was Corper a minute apart.

Thanks for squeezing us in at the last second even though we had to float $3 on the entry fee until afterward. My buddy and I had a great time!

I remember at one point my fellow NG and I were trapped by an APC at the village. I was shot rather suddenly and I'm still not sure from where. In any case, I got startled and smashed the butt of my gun into my chin and started bleeding. Fortunately, a friendly medic revived me with a band-aid that also patched my wound.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So I was reading this thread and all of a sudden, shit hit the fan....Tombstone we both know your pure awesome mojo can kill with a single drop. DJ your awesome is definitely in question.

What is not in question is the amount of PURE AWESOME this game was. Good job on both sides. I enjoyed both commanding Recon and Security at this event. Great to see the faces of the people I chat with on the forums. I look forward to playing with you all soon!

If I do command a team next time I will be dressed in General Hawk attire, along with a cigar and aviators. Tombstone will of course be Cobra Commander since hes a ginger and breathes fire from his manmeat.
My sword runs at 450 FPS, try to out run that! 35+ Sword/Knife Kills and counting.

APST shot me too, in the back, downhill while they were on top Hamburger Hill. That was a huge wake up call, but it didn't shock me. As for the missing piece, that was on my mind the rest of the game. We should've gone hunting for it towards Star Log, but NOOOOO. Tombstone wanted to just stay and cuddle RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the Village... Which was AWESOME though hahaha.

Ollie Twist, perhaps you should start a bounty thread. Chuckle.

Splat Action should get some security or at least have someone walk around the vehicle during the game. Someone tried to break into my truck. Caused 350-500 dollars in damage (not 100% sure at this point) This game cost me more then i thought it would.

how do you know someone tried to break into it? i don't see why someone would try to break into a vehicle when there was THOUSANDS of dollars worth of gear literally just laying around. people trust each other far too much.

Yea, I saw multiple people walking around who did not look to be airsofters or Paintballers . Just kinda hanging out eyeballing everything....classic car prowlers. At the least contact Clackamas County sheriff and make a phone report.....it will help later. My impression of Splat action is that it is a pretty low budget operation, just the two guys running it. security is pretty expensive and I dont know if they could afford to pull it off.

Did they mess with the locks or the windows?

If this starts to be a concern at events, We cold do our own " security"
