For the future for the people are fuckin' retards.
IF SOMEONE IS STANDING NEXT TO THE ADMIN(LIKE THE PEOPLE WITH BRIGHT ORANGE VESTS)DON'T bleeding SHOOT THEM.

I don't know how many times I was standing talking with Bill and I was shot(half the time I didn't even have a bleeding gun), not just in the midsection but in the bleeding face and neck. Tommy boy had the same experiences. First off, it was explained pretty fuckin' simple in the briefing that it's pointless to shoot us.

You people need to learn bleeding trigger control and stop playing like a bunch of bleeding retards.

There's mine... nothing incredibly good but...

What can I say, I was using a loaned camera :(

Not to sound like an a$$, but you shouldn't complain about the D40. It's a good camera, if you can't figure out how to use it, you differently shouldn't get a d300.

BTW, do you mind if I add your photos to the AP santa wars album?

Not to sound like an a$$, but he never complained about the camera, he's just not used to it. He's got experience and deserves more credit than I think you give him about his knowledge of cameras, and I think if you're used to professional cameras then going down to a D40 would be a stupid thing to do. So yes, he should differently get a D300.

Yeah, you're right, he can't get good shoots because he isn't used to it.

I shot a wedding recently,, with my camera and a D40 with little or no time to play with it. The photos came out fantastic.
I can pick up about any Canon or Nikon camera and use it like I've one for years.

Alijah, you normally shot with a canon 40D, am I correct?

Yes your photos are good too. No need to complain. ;)

I just want to note that the reason for my bitterness, I am just sick of people saying that they can't get as good photos, because "their camera isn't as good as mr. X" or shows up to an paid event with a lack of knowledge of their own gear. (yes, I can name a few people that I had to help. Oh gawd. )

Yours isn't exactly that cases stated above, but it reminds me of them.
And it wasn't a paid event, it's all good. Airsoft is actually GREAT practice!
I hope me and other skilled airsoft photogs can work side by side more often.

Yes, I shoot on a 40D when I'm doing paid photography work...

For the record, I didn't make the comment about wanting a d300 because I don't feel my camera is good enough to take good shots... I've just moved past the camera I have and would like to upgrade. I do some studio work, and some work in darker areas, and a lot of portraits and my personal camera (a d50, NOT the d40) is good, yes, but is not everything I need.

I too shot a wedding recently and some of the shots I took on my d50 and some I shot with a 40d/30d (both rigged with different lenses) and the shots from the 40d and 30d turned out better, mostly because there's so much more you can do in camera with white balance customization and the like.

On a lighter note, however, I appreciate the compliment, I don't shoot as much as I wish I did anymore, can't seem to find the time, but what little I do I take a lot of pride in. It was good meeting you Fred and I look forward to seeing you at the BSP Challenge.
and yes, it's fine if you add them to the album.
Also, could I get a link to your flickr? I'd appreciate it.

@Seagreen; Thank you very much. It was great meeting you and I really look forward to working with you in the future.

@Everyone else;

Im perfectly capable of target acquisition and trigger control both but when an invincible player is going to sit on a sector control point and slaughter anyone who comes close to it Im gonny rely on the fact that twelve rounds to his thigh might make him back up because it stings.

Especially when our invincible counterpart moves too close and is told that he has to back off because hes too close.

Lets honestly take a minute to think about what poor sportsmanship really is shall we?

Granted there was no reason to be shooting admins and people who were obviously not in game play and I will agree that shots to the face and neck are the epitome of poor sportsmanship.

Im just saying that there were factors that applied

I'm speaking from my personal experience.
Both times I was shot in the face and neck, I was standing speaking with Bill. No gun in my hands. The second time, I had no gun at all.
The rest of the time I was standing with no gun in my hand and was shot. I was the only person with a black coat and hat on, you have to be a bleeding retard not to realize it. I had plenty of people that saw it was me, and didn't bother shooting me. The rest seemed to lack the basic brain functions to either remember or put two and two together.
shazaam, I was even shot by my own team at one point.
This is just a general experience I have at most games. It just seemed more common at this game and it generally ruined it for me.

I think we need a "no retards" rule. You shoot a admin, you're a retard and you're fuckin' out.
Bill and I got shot a lot of times at Faction Wars as well. The retardedness needs to stop. Open your bleeding eyes and identify your target. Don't be a retard.

no doubt, yesterday was my first game and i knew what your position on the field was and to not shoot ( plus you had a BA setup on), but there were quite a few really young kids who get all amped up and figure they have a good shot when someones not shooting at them. or maby schools have taught what invincabilty means yet?
