Well, this is my first OP, and I had a very good (and tiring) time. I spent maybe a fourth of my time dead, and scored around 2 or 3 kills, but it was still great for me. Perhaps it's just my noobishness but I thought it went pretty well. What I saw at least.

On a different note: Are the raffles usually that chock-full of prizes? Half of the fee must have been to pay for all of that stuff! I walked away with a giftcard that was almost a Dragonuv, but if it continued at that rate from when I left, then...wow. LOTS of free shit.

Yes, most of the time. They're getting better and better. We put a lot of time into building a rapport with sponsors to get cool stuff to give out. Splat Action is also a great host because they usually throw us $1000 worth of prizes.

Hey guys, I had fun and enjoyed teaching the noobies/beginners how to attack in mass numbers. Hey KaBaar, it was fun playing on your side today. The drive from Colorado was worth it, since i am was moving here anyway. Yeah, i know, there was a whole lot of no kills called today by the ISAF side and some on are side as well. I have been playing for about 6yrs now and never saw a game played where so many did not honor there hits. Its just a game, so i just rolled with it took a moment to teach and get back in the action. You guys know who you were, the 40 to 50 guys who helped me take on the poopie field from the top road and work are way back down the hill, (good job). Clearly, next time, there needs to be a limit on players on both sides 100vs100 or even better 4 teams all playing against each other. I would have killed for one of those CIRAS vests. Maybe that's what the knives were for...

Hey! I have an idea! I'll start going to the OP's just for the raffles! then I can run around, never calling my hits all day, and still walk away with cool stuff later! AWESOME!

I had a great time today. Where there issues? Sure. Have I ever been to a large (75+) game where there isnt? Nope

I thought Zeus did a great job today, The op was alot of fun. I didnt appreciate the end getting called on the first mission early, but mistakes do happen.

I would welcome a change of venue periodically, just to change the scenery and keep things fresh, kinda like that summer when there was a Scappoose game every weekend.

Ka-Bar, I think you should relax a little. You guys did a great job with the misison profile and team you were handed. Most of the more established teams, (and hence most the experienced players) ended up on the other side. You still gave us a heck of a lot of trouble. I would say that is good in anyones book. However, blowing up on the forums like that really dimishes your credibility, and lessens the impact of the points that you do make.

I had a personal victory today...I finally dialed in my DM'ed m14. I was able to get a reflex headshot from about thirty yards with it. I am sure many other folks had personal victories out there, and in the end isnt that what keeps us coming back?

As Adam aka Deacon stated, you are going to 300-400 person game, expect a fair amount of cheating and lameness. If you come in expecting the cleanest game ever, you will truly be disappointed.

The day was chock full of crazy gun fights, new players, and an over all issue with honesty for both sides.

As for you Talis, great game I enjoyed shooting at all of you. Thanks to my team for helping deliver death to the Tali forces! Also thanks to Zeus and all of the guys that worked to make this possible!

No problem Kabaar, I am sure we will play at many more together in the futute. I understand the words you are saying and see deeper into what you are saying. For those of us who have been playing for awhile such as yourself, you expect the level of players, besides game play to step up as well. Basically, you want to see the same effort put out as what you put in. I have played in many Op's in different states over the yrs and see the same problems, plus the good ones as well. The most postive thing i have seen today is so many people ready to get into Airsoft. Just think, "many"people will speak of us from this event and others will join because of the battles we embark in the trench just to get to the level of play we are at. After many yrs of Armed Service, I keep things in life in perspective. Check out my weblink in my profile and you will realize this is just a game. I can't wait for the next Op or CQC game.
Just remember: The best example, is to "Lead not Follow"

It was good to see old friends, and meet new ones. This game was far from excellent, it had major flaws, however I trust zues's words lessons learned. I would like to offer up an explanation as to why I walked. Over all mismanagment and disorganization led to shoddy play, however the staw that broke tha camels back, seeing 8 players leaning up agaist and taking cover behind a car parked in the designated parking lot, then being shot. That is stupid, it is reckless, and had there been proper guidlines things like that would not have happend. Again Lessons learned. To those Honorable players who stuck it through the mud Tali and otherwise: Good job today!
