Try a little Doc Savage out for inspiration. Early 1930's pulp hero.

Check out "What Price Glory" (online militaria store) for some Indiana-themed adventure http://onlinemilitaria.net/shopdisplayp ... Jones+Gear

My favorite? The Mark Seven (MKVII) bag Indy carried:

And I suggest you all get Tanaka gas revolvers, which are not only bad a$$, but extremely reliable (I hear) and shoot 340 - 360 out of the box.

As an addendum to a question asked earlier -

That's not a pistol!
I had forgotten about Hudsons 'Mad Max' shotgun - thankfully Darius reminded me. So - a sawed off, pistol-gripped, double-barreled shotgun could be classified as a pistol.

not so sure im cool with that. id prefer that people who did not purchase and do not know my equipment not use my equipment as well.

That refers to rifles. Actors will not be removing your pistol.

As an example- Beran gets killed by an enemy soldier, he falls in place, and the enemy soldier searches him rapidly for weapons- taking berans shotgun... When the stage is complete, the shotgun is returned to Beran, so he can move on to the next stage.

As all rifles used by players on the field will be supplied by AirsoftReview, we don't believe this will present an issue of actors breaking your weapons.

Also, as all rifles used by players will be provided by AirsoftReview, our event staff will have no problem with removing them from the hands of players who show themselves to be incapable of respecting other peoples property.

Example - Alex Kaeda is using an airsoftreview provided shotgun. He intentionally mis-uses it, repeatedly shoving the muzzle into mud, and swinging it wildly like a baseball bat. He's nor surprised when a staff member approaches and takes it from him for the duration of the event.

that clarifies things a lot. i have no problem with it if the equipment in question was provided by the event staff to begin with.

also, your example is flawed. i wont be dying. :P

I would never shoot Beran in the back...unless it benifited me in some way...or he was beating me in a race to chocolate ice cream.

Remember you get to choose your own party.

There will be all sorts there.

My bet is on Tombstone though. His costume sounds like it's going to kick a$$.

So, what if we don't have a team to go with? Would it be possible for people who are coming alone to form a group when they get there? For example I come by myself and two other people show up by themselves, with no pre-planned teams. Would the three people be organized into a group at the event?

Loners are encouraged to band together into a group of 3-8. We won't be assigning teams. If you don't have any friends in the community yet, this is a chance to make a new friend.

We will not be organizing you up into a group there - we'll have too many other things going on.

There's still a couple months until the game, so there's plenty of time to Find other players who are in need of team-mates, by using the Team Finder Forum at AirsoftReview.net (and I notice that ChillPhil has a thread going there, too!)
