We will have one more "Conflict Europe" event to determine the final winner.

Right now Warsaw (after last weekend's event) has a 478 pt advantage. (the two sniper missions played a key role in the victory)

We will play the last event in the North/South arrangement.....instead of East and West.

I will need commanders (non-BSP staff) for the final phase:

John Warther already expressed interest for NATO's command, I'll need a Warsaw commander as well.

This gameplay concept will not go away, we'll just dispense with all the Russian/US stuff and go Alpha/Bravo etc. for the future. The gametype is being molded and polished as the players understand and further defined the roles within the game by playing them.

We will further define the usage of engineers and CAC. At some point we may add medics, but don't count on it any time soon.....medics tend to create confusion and concern of hacks. The current model with check in status is the best current option.

Hopefully we'll really get a solid turn out for the next event.

I've already be reassured that PB will NOT BE ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON SA PROPERTY WHILE WE ARE THERE after the discussion post event on Sunday.

-A raffle will be set up for next event
-A map change (North/South)
-A whole lot of keeeeling

Next event date will be posted in the next two weeks.

Hey Guys this is one of the best OP's i have ever been to and i am more than willing to go to the next one whenever it is.
On to other things. I saw the honor system being used a coupel times the only complaint i have was a couple nato guys above the southern artillery on the hill moving down towards the bunker where getting hit and where not calling it. Me being about five feet away when they walked by hiding behind a fallen tree stump popped up called safety kill on the first guy and then dissappeared. I was then rudely killed by the very guy i called a safety kill on.

But i was also running with a pistol and got a shot off at a guy all the way across the "river" when i was in the southern outpost on warsaw terriotority. He callled hit when i was sure i had missed being as the shot was at about 50 yards or farther.

Thats right troy Im a chicken ####.. You know Ive done that at plenty of games and Ive been lit up whilst doing it. as a matter of fact it happened about an hour before I succcessfully did it in front of you.

It was within the game mechanic (my rifle was not over my head, my hands were not in the air, and I was not wearing a death rag) There are plenty of people who will back me and say that it was clever and that they almost shot me. Just because you dont agree with it doesnt mean it needs to be changed.

As far as walking to spawn, my spawn point was a good 100 yards behind me and I was walking into enemy territory.

So you called me a chicken #### in front of several players and now you have called me out on it on the boards. Ill proudly admit that it was me who did it and you know what? Ill probably do it again.

Now I will also admit that there were several players who had started exiting the fie3ld with no death rag and no gun or hands in the air and thats why I didnt do it again after that.

The Silver Dragon is to the 1911 as the GSX-R1000 is to the Grand Vitara. They'll both get you down the road, but one helps you compensate for your shortcomings. "sleepy"

Big fan of engineers and CAC, not a fan of medics and would be happy not to see medics at any future games.

We did have some trouble with our one laser and think that if CAC are implemented in the future it would be nice to have lasers supplied by BSP.

Thank you, that was very annoying especially after hearing people and cars got hit with paint balls.

I've seen Mobius do that before and because of that if you don't have a death rag and your gun is not above your head I'll assume you're alive.

Great game, and thanks to BSP, the bridges, airstrikes, artillery, and missions were a great innovation that helped contribute to the realism and intensity of the game.

I was the one sent by PSC running all over the field looking for Flak's laser, he ended up getting the message elsewhere. :P

Highlights:

Scoring some kills on the southeast village only to earn the contempt of the ENTIRE DRAT TEAM! As they released simultaneous suppression fire, it sound like angry hail as their rounds tore through the under growth while I layed, hands-tightly born down on my boonie for concealment. One team member subsequently shot me in the head about 7 times from 15-20 ft. with a quick full auto-burst, and subsequently received a congratulations on my stealth from one of the NATO strike team members. I picked up the pieces of my gun that had collapsed under battle pressures, and began to haul myself back up the hill, couldn't have been happier.

Same spot about 15 minutes later: My brother and I hunted Morgan, simply one step behind a couple feet short at every turn, missing my chance a precious few lost shots, but concealment counld not be sacrificed. My path took me to where I laid waste to the flanks of the NATO forces under the assumption that they were safe from a pincer strike, even killing one player twice before I had been spotted. I believe it was Kendo that first spotted me. "Hey, HEY, wait, wait! Oh god! He's alive! I got the chance to kill that same previous player once again before he decided that that particular corner had earned a hosing. He celebrated his kill, shaking hands and shouting "I got him! I got this Ivan!" We shook hands as I returned to register my death and smiled as I walked away, hearing the distinctive clack-clack of my brother avenging my death with his M9.

A great day.

MOHR wrote: I watched Jim fire about a bag of bbs out of his 249 at Amos on the top of the hill. Amos had somehow made himself like 1/2 inch thick ( not reallty difficult for that skinny little...) anyway, tons of bbs flying just inches over the top of him and finally he just sat up and took one cuz he was never going anywhere. i went down to tell jim that I watched for like 10 min and no bbs actually hit him. Jim wasn't bitching like a few others that day but I wanted him to know that amos wasn't hacking.

Thanks Troy, it means a lot that my integrity on the field is as important to others as it is to me.

Nice shot "6mm Messiah."

All I heard was a load click against my wire mesh goggles and I knew it was a sniper.
