Well guys, I hate to post this, but I guess its not cool not to show up without an explanation. Over the last twenty four hours, everyone except four members of our stack (By the way, the four players who were still committed were David, Glenn, Gabe, and myself).
are either not responding to phone or email, or are incapable of going/ lazy assholes.
Because this has happened at several recent events we have attended, Portland Airsoft Corps will no longer be attending any games with a player cap or those where a limited amount of teams can participate, unless our whole stack pre-pays.
While this makes me overall feel like shit, at least there was one spot open, so I am assuming that there was not a waiting list. But no matter what, I am sorry.

Handbook wrote: 3. Mission profiles: One scenario will be local law enforcement (SWAT Style), the second will be based on the MOUT genre, and the third will be close protection (Security). You will be able to swap gear or make quick adjustments between missions if needed.

We should be providing you what you'll be heading to next..or to start with early enough for you to have plenty of time to deal with it.

Also, Sonic.

Don't sign up for an event, bump other teams out, and then not show. NOT COOL DUDE.

I know just how lame it is. From now on, we prepay or we don't come. as of when we signed up, we had a roster of 12. then that fell to nine, up until yesterday. that number fell significantly,to the point of where we don't even have the minimum. David and I are still trying to find at least two more people to fill the stack. (doesn't seem like its going to be a reality).

Wow...Just wow.

I want to know who wrote the CIP scenario. I was just completely immersed. THIS is why I play airsoft. This is what I wish I could do when I was doing the boring a$$ detail in real life. Everything I trained for, everything I know was tested to it's absolute maximum. Every nerve was on edge, everything was in slow motion...it was fuckin' great.

The rest of the event--oh yeah. Nothing but goodness. Through and through. ZERO down-time. Well organized, and UNREAL level of immersion. It was just...great.

Actors--wow. You guys did an unreal job. Several times I forgot where I was and what I was doing-lost in the sceanrio, searching for the right solution to the myriad of challenges you guys presented to me. There are a couple of you that I have...a special place in my heart for. There is also a couple of you that I enjoyed seeing lying on the floor.

Bill, and the Black Sierra staff, my hat is off to you all. Your level of perfessionalism is incredible and a rarity in this world and especially in this hobby.

I said earlier that each CQC was better than the last, and Iwas surely not mistaken.

Wow...just wow.

Purely Amazing. Simply and utterly oozing with awesomeness. This was the first time my team has participated in a CQC event, and it will most certainly not be the last. We are definitely coming to the next one, and hopefully all of the ones after that! Anybody have a date set yet for CQC 7?
