yes, jim ends KA-BAR's CQC knifewielding reign of terror.

then jim that phony pony was all.....

"STAB STAB STAB !"
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

By the way, I left a blue nike bag over in by the warehouse, in the back room furthest from the door.

Did anyone find it? It still has my ammo/gloves/one of my batteries
I need that mercedes fixed by noon!

Wickers wrote:Thanks to BSP, S4, actors, admins, and media crew. I had a great time out there.

Day one the 5RAC got raped. We were out of our element and it showed, vehicles, PSD, and the like really through us out of our element. However we look forward to developing this new genre.

Day two we pwned, the scenario was unique yet reminiscent of the training we've developed over the years. Near perfection, but our errors of day one simply were too great.

Day one I instinctively wanted to complain about lack of orange vests, discrepancies in rules, etc. but day two erased it from my mind. The PSD needs a bit of work, it was a good prototype, but you proved that you have the classic style law enforcement scenarios down. It was a good learning experience for everyone, I can't wait until the next one.

Lastly, I think the immense amount of footage will help teams see exactly what they did, because even first hand accounts are hard to piece together. I can tell it will be an excellent learning tool in addition to some quality entertainment.
This is why wickers is one of our most cherished members. He stated exact what I wanted to say and type.. + 1..

Seagreen wrote:Btw, Jim killing Morgan with a knife...was.....the ultimate moment in the event for me.

This deserves a bit more explanation.
The UC (Jim) was compromised.
Vinny (Morgan) grabbed up Jim and put a gun to his head. Using him as a meat shield he proclaimed that he was "getting out of here!"

As they moved down the corridor Morgan took the pistol from Jim's head just long enough to flag and "threaten" Wickers.
Jim acted.
Using his hyper "John Woo" like reflexes he retrieved a concealed knife, spun loose of Morgans clasp and stabbed his a$$ to freedom.

Once the UC was compromised I was certain you guys were hosed. You pulled that one out of the hopper masterfully.
Day one the 5RAC got raped. We were out of our element and it showed, vehicles, PSD, and the like really through us out of our element.

A class was offered free of charge on three seperate occasions to familiarize teams with vehicles, PSD and the like.

Regarding the video, please be patient. I assure you it won't take forever to get it out.
Rather than take this one on by myself I asked Matt and Wes to join forces with me.
They graciously accepted and because of this we have better media coverage than ever before.
We had a total of 5 camera's rolling plus 4 helmet/gun cams.
What this means is we have close to 30 hours of footage that must be captured, sorted and edited.
Out of that 30 hours we will release a video less than 20 minutes in length.
We have to perform a rough edit of the footage, generate title sets and graphics, special effects, sound effects, final edit, sound edit, proof and encode.
I would say that we easily have close to 400 hours of work in front of us. We also have jobs, school, families, etc.
I believe Wes mentioned we don't get paid right?
So, please be patient.
This will be the best one yet!

The one thing that I would like to suggest is that the player handbook be up to date when it is posted for those of us that don't keep up on the AP forums. That way we all would of known that we had to have restraints to use them, and that we could of used them. That is pretty much my only complaint of the weekend.

One of our members attended the second class. Chapped you know we like to do things our own way. We spent 2 hours just discussing it and no practice. Next time we will be on top of it, no matter what the mission is.

Team America thanks everyone.

How awesome was it, that when we were announced the "winner", most of the crowd yelled "F@#K YEA!". Great crowd, thank you all. Most actors literally even spent time on their knee's for us.

Thanks to KABAR, for taking that surprise muzzle strike like a man. Genuine surprise, and he still didn't break character.

One hell of a show guys, we can't wait for the next one. We'll be there to try to defend #1. Whoever wins next time, will definitely have to put out.

Who is Team America?

I was wondering who is on the team. I hadn't heard of them, but I thought I might know someone.

We're the dudes playing with dudes disguised as some army dudes.

We're partly former Battlesim members, and other friends. This was our first showing under the new name. Expect to see us more.

I know we've met before somewhere once or twice.

I'd just like to reiterate the thanks for actors, media crew and staff for their efforts in putting on this event. I had a fantastic time. My only real complaint was the scheduling for the shooting competitions.

That was a major disappointment. Several of us wanted to compete and the only time frame posted for the single operator competitions was "during your down time on Sunday". We showed up 3 hours early for our slot so that we could compete and we got a very rude "You showed up too late. You should have been here at noon." from the single operator staff.
