Thank you everyone for coming out today! On behalf of SOTA I want to thank all of you for helping make today a such a spectacularly successful event. I hope that everyone had a fantastic time today, but if you have any concerns please voice them. Only through knowing about our errors can we make steps to correct them. Again, I profusely apologize for the waiver snafu. Also, I know that the airstrikes weren't perfectly conducted, but for the most part they served their purpose of keeping clusterfucks from building on the land bridge. Certainly something we will improve on in the future, but they got the job done.

I'm sore as hell and I didn't even shoot anything. shazaam!

I had a lot of fun. The airstrikes seem like the perfect way to break all of the standstill fighting that inevitably becomes part of every game. People are too frightened to run out in the open when there's plastic flying around. It just keeps the action out of the choke points.

Anyway, thanks to SOTA and Bad Karma for putting on a kickass game, and thanks to ABT for their kickass field.

The game was amazing, I had a great time. The midcap-lowcap only rule really helped make the game fun. The airstrikes could have been better, but they served their purpose. They helped to keep the game moving. Thanks to everyone for putting on a great game.

Also, if anyone accidentally grabbed A MARPAT airsplat bag with a bunch of stuff in it, including a bunch of "juicemachine" nametapes, an OD patrol cap, and a pare of really big shooting glasses, plus it has black spray paint on the sides, that's mine. Thanks.

That was fun. I'd do that again.

Thanks for putting the game up. I can't wait for Fred's Photos for this one. Also it's good to finally see PLA starting to shape up. That was a whole lotta blue fancy shirts.

Yep, I had a good time too.
We held up pretty well in rounds 1&2, but lost horribly due to attrition.

Ha ha ha, take that NATO pigs!
Who actually went up to the parking lot/road to call the nuke?

Alex (Aeono) did. You called the airstrike, I gave Aeono the order, and we followed standard Missile Control protocol. All vehicles were destroyed, and the parking lot turned into glass.

Just a suggestion to improve the air strikes for future event:

Give maps to the element leaders as well as the force commanders. That way squads can call the CO to request a strike, and that can be relayed to the Air Command. It would make it easier for the commander to launch the attacks while still coordinating their units instead of having to run out to the location to figure out the grid coordinates themselves before calling it in.

I had a great time, even though I am now gimped. It appears I tweaked my knee when I got my foot stuck in the mud, and now I cannot even bend it. Ice and Ibuprofen will be keeping me company tonight.

That was the best game I have ever played.
Whatever you guys run in the future I am in.

Also, I liked the clumsy inefficient and awkward airstrikes. It is more reflective of the nature of close air support.
In particular, props to nikolai, without whom I would have mission incapable in the 3rd round. (which I mostly spent in a ditch)
