Now now, lets be clear about WHO got owned. Remember, only a moment or two after those pictures were taken, I took all of those motherfuckers with me with 120Db of CO2 goodness!

First of all I want to give a big thank you out to Airsoft Outlet North West! They were spectacular, and even provided drinks for our actors, admins and players. (For those of you who don't go to many of these types of games, that is above and beyond.) They even donated extra prized for the gift bags at the event and cut us a deal on the shotguns that PSC purchased for the zombies.

Speaking of Zombies, you guys were spectacular! Not only did we have one of the best turn outs for a zombie game in the PacNW to date, but you took hit after hit and stayed in character without out complaints. Both days had a great turn out and the acting really amazed me on the second day. Also A thanks goes out to Gunny for filling in for Switch. You did a great job and were a total Psycho BAMF. I should have asked you to act from the very beginning. Again, to all the actors Thank you all for your dedication.

My next thank you goes out to Nic Redfield at PDX CAGE for all his time and help that he contributed to this event. He made it easy for me to concentrate on the players/actors/everyone else's needs and not other more tedious things.

Thanks to Airsoft Extreme for being our returning sponsor. We loved the goodies and appreciated having the CA HK416 Sportline in the list of raffle prizes. (The first AEG donated to us!)

Now onto the not so fun part.

I understand that there were several negatives that came with the positive things in this event. I'm sad to say that I played up the event a lot. Maybe too much for what some of you were expecting but I felt that the new direction I was going in was a good idea. I took a step in the dark and stumbled a bit. I thought that what I had prepared was going to fill in an hour or maybe even the full 90 minute slot, but alas I F'd up. Oh well. I can only learn from my lessons and progress to make the next event I run even better. This was after all my second event that I have ever hosted and it was a competition (not the easiest to pull off, but I love a good challenge). I am completely open to opinions and critique (positive or negative) because I want to make the next one an event that all can enjoy and remember.

BadKarma, if you really felt that you were getting less play for your money then you should have expressed it with me at the event. All I heard was "Needs another half hour" from most of SOTA. If you guys really wanted another go I would have let you go again for an underscored "do over". (From the looks of It you would have had the time) I did the same for the "Fist of Norris" group that only had 4 people and most of them were slaughtered very early on. In the future please communicate such serious feelings with me while I can still do something to fix it for you. I'm not a complete tool. ;)

I thought the event was great. My only complaint was that it was too long and that Bigfoot is a tool.

OH MY GOD WE WON!!!!!!!
So what does the trophy look like? That should go to Darius137 so he can mount it somewhere in the future PLA HQ!
I've only been to Dead By Dawn prior to Night and the huge difference was the presence of the GUIDE. There were times I really wanted to ignore his commands in order to explore more. We left several rooms untouched, but the indoor nature of CAGE made everything way more chaotic and stressful. Sorry to hear about SOTA's difficulty, but everyone had the same zombie difficulty. If I remember correctly there were three level stages of their speed and aggression, from staggering and stumbling stupidly to full on running and roaring.

Ok here are my thoughts

The game was a fantastic use of PDX CAGE but...

The game itself was too short and when I say too short its ask for my money back rip-off too short, I understand that the stack that I ran with was one of the fastest. That, however, does not change my position on the length of the game. As far as the event planning goes I would expect in the future events that PSC hosts to have a more thought out plan of teams ability to execute objectives despite the scripted nature of the 'ZOMBIE GAME'.

I had the opportunity to become a zombie part way through my stack and then stay on one more round made the difference between a okay game and a good game. I found the part of a zombie far FAR more enjoyable than the part of the survivor.

As for Mono's Louis: while as a zombie i had to look away from the survivors when he was around because he had me laughing every time he walked by. As a survivor i felt the whole time that we would fare better if we had shot you and your group of actors we would have fared better. While you played your part well, i was disinterested in your commentary after the first trip to the safe house. This is part of the reason Eurdorus and Myself broke off from the team to complete objectives ourselves.

The objectives were explained, but the bonus stuff, the napalm and paper instructions were so incredibly vague i ended up picking up alot of trash and only 1 thing of actual value, while I understand that you did not want to be blatant and give away information about some of these things I also would like to point out that way more information could have been given about what we work looking for.

Overall it was okay, but I will sound BadKarma opinion as my own. If we expect events to be better in the future then event promoters have to do better. I’ve got lots of money to spend on good events and no money to spend on bad ones.

Wow, nothing was vague on our end.. It was nice to have a guide(it was part of the script, even with his jokes and off cuff comments).. The cameraman flashing his flash added to the confusion. The dialog about the other papers and bottles weren't that vague.. It was a good game.. I would pay another $20.00 to have a good time with my team mates.

At risk of appearing ungracious I felt that $20 for 30 minutes of gameplay was a little bit rich.
