Well McNair let me be the first to welcome you to the NATO side then.

Hah, I've done NATO at every milsim(MSW) event I've been to. Waiting on Dan and the rest of KBAB to see if they're going to attend as Russian so I can do that. however, if they flake out(as Dan is famous for), i'll likely do NATO since I have the kit for it.

Oh man, I just got my PMC-y kit done and I have none of the camo types allowed. Shame.

Ah well, I still have things I need to get done on my rifle and whatnot. After all, it shoots 420 and not 400, and I've yet to get a replacement spring for it.

Oh well our limit is 420 for aeg and you can find cheap camo on eBay and other sources. Guess you were not serious enough to play in more dedicated aka Milsim environment. Step up if u want to play with the big boys

Because I'm literally completely out of cash after finishing a fairly nice kit that doesn't use camo but instead solids as that's what actual PMC wear, I'm not serious enough to play in a dedicated milsim environment and need to step it up? Ha, that's actually rather funny.

I don't half-ass my kits, and based off of what this is it's your normal semi-serious games but at a MOUNT instead, I really don't think you have the grounds to talk. The limitations are extremely lax, especially compared to a good milsim organization, such as MSW who requires a proper kit. I mean, have you seen the uniform and equipment requirements? By all means, assume I'm not serious enough. Can I not pursue a different kit? I know what's expected of me in a milsim environment, I've been reading up and preparing myself for about two years at this point for a wargame, the last thing I need is money to purchase my kit and I'll be good to go.

In case you were wondering, my next kit is going to be a SOBR or VDV kit. I'm largely basing it off of /u/VorpalBunnie's SOBR kit from 2013 or /u/RIICKY's VDV kit from Raid on Rostov.

One Milsim host doesn't define the whole genre. And frankly the argument of what is milsim is a dumb one.

Don't try to assume to know what I am doing or what I have planned for this. This event took some up front cash, logistics and patience to organize at this facility. It's not as simple and it's a no refund risk should we get bumped to military priority. There are a whole bunch of things happening behind the scenes to make it a good game and I have been working on this event for over a year.

What you think is so cool about MSW, I personally think is ridiculous and some things dangerous in some aspects and over the top but hey if that's what those guys want that attend, then good for them and good for the MSW staff that pulls it off. Hats off to their success of what they do. I have a different outlook on things.

Thanks for identifying yourself as an asshole now stay the shazaam off my thread if you want to try to insult me some more.

BTW my comments were in a friendly gesture at ya and meant to be offensive but then again if you know me so well, you should know that.

That was by no means a "friendly gesture" but instead an insult (Did you miss a word there? A friendly gesture that's offensive?). There is literally no reason for you to tell me to "step it up" because I'm not serious enough for having a different kit from the bog standard MARPAT WD, M81, MuliGlam (By the way, how do you handle forest or tropical Multicam?), etc. Sure, PMC are done to hell at this point, but I sunk a decent bit of money in, I'd say that shows I'm serious enough.

I'm pretty sure I haven't been the asshole here. Really. I'm a self-identified asshole, I recognize that I am, but this wasn't me being an asshole. I know full well how you handle people and you really don't give a shazaam if people dislike you. I'm the same way. But you're the one who said I wasn't serious and that I needed to step it up after a comment by me expressing disappointment in being unable to attend. Considering you were the one to start this whole thing I'd say I have the right to defend myself

if you were going to limit yourself based on camo, to me that meant you were not serious enough to attend. Maybe gesture not the right word. Friendly ribbing. You took it wrong. and went a long direction. The response was pretty harsh and unfair if you were offended by what I said.

Explain to me how I handle people and I don't care if they dislike me? After all to be successful you have to care about the people that attend your events.

insults is a whole other ball game so don't use this as an example.

But If you mean drama starting, spreading lies, trolls then yeah those I don't give a shit about but then again 99.9% of them are not my customer either.

We don't accept those modified version of multicam.

I've known a few people who worked as contractors("PMC")and they didn't ONLY wear solid colours. Often they wore camoflauge such as Multicam and UCP(ACU).

Honestly, posting on the game thread basically just whining because you can't use whatever shit you currently have is bleeding retarded and all too common for your age group. You're not going to get anywhere on it, so either get what is asked for(and as you said yourself, its pretty bleeding lax, so whats the problem?)or gtfo.

I read your bio when I first attended a game at Sniperzden because I was bored. Quite literally it says that, or I interpreted it that way. Plus you don't seem to care about my dislike, which is good.

Also I wasn't limiting myself based on camo but instead simply not having it and I rather hate having a mismatching kit (It just looks bad, and since it's airsoft it's 90% gearwhore, 5% tech stuff, 3% gameplay and 2% everything else) in addition to having the money be harder to come by. After all, I'd rather not pair M81 with a coyote brown Banshee and a PAR MK3. I might have my black CIRAS lying around and that would look a little nicer, maybe, than a CB Banshee

Either way I'm looking at attending, seeing if I can group some friends up to operate as a potential fireteam and see if Andy and Bax here in Portland has some M81 or MARPAT WD for not a bunch of money.

Not looking to get anywhere on it, nor did I think I was whining. I'm pretty sure I can express that I'd like to attend but cannot in the post, it's also the first event I've seen on here at a MOUNT so it's even more so. I'm used to hearing about it over on the east coast (The concentration of people on /r/airsoft are either in LA/the immediate area or somewhere along the northeast) so I'm also actually disappointed in being unable to come.

Also what I know of PMCs (Yes, I use PMC, even though they're more accurately described as private security. Shorter to spell and everyone knows what you mean) comes a little from reading a blog of one and then what I've read on federal rules when it comes to contractors. Which means not using camo that other countries use, for equipment last I checked. Everything else varies from organization to organization

Do I care if you hate me? Do you wanna know the truth?
C'est la vie....adiós....good riddance....shazaam you!

that message was something directed towards the haters, trolls, liars, etc that sometimes plague me but luckily very few. It is not my overall attitude towards the generally good people I come in contact with. When it comes to hosting events, I do care about those players and ask people that come and they will tell you how I thank them and tell I appreciate them and I go out of my way to help people. Shit I have even surprised people with free breakfast.

Sorry if you got offended. That wasn't my intention. I would hit up ebay or goodwill. andy and bax last time I checked were expensive.

Bax is crazy expensive but it's also an easy place for me to reach without a car. I'll see what I can find, although with my luck nothing will get here in time
