Nasty, the 5 AFSOC positions will be dispersed to each of the SOF units. The AFSOC guys will not perform as a single entity.

@ Mars, Brian, and Warren...It'll be good to see you guys again!

@ League4: Yes, no boonie covers for this mission. Dress to impress...IE MICH helmets etc.

I also have another question, would an Eagle SPC be okay for Marsoc? I've seen a picture of a bunch of Marsoc guys and one was wearing one but I don't think they're directly issued to them, or it was a regular grunt along with them or something but I'm just wondering if it'd be close enough?

I love love love this idea. I am so in, gotta see what unit my dudes want to rock before I sign up.

Under each unit type can you post a link a an example impression or to a thread on AP that has already began to gather examples. This will be helpful for people to start building their kit.

I am looking at this post: http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=14676

Thinking APST folks could go MARSOC, can you give me some more specifics about which of these loadouts you are looking for from this roll?

Yeah, I know its not a "Team Event" but it would be nice roll with some hommies.

This is a test event for future similar events. Hope everyone comes with the spirit of the event in mind...and a willingness to go as close to the "impressions" as possible.

Can we have a hair-length requirement? (not beards, just hair) ;)

@ Rico : It was a general "look at these forums deal, not a direct link yo!"

Also, the key to the MARSOC deal is the need for CB gear. The Marine Corps went all coyote brown...and that is necessary to rock that look. It'd also be a reasonable to expect a clean cut on the dome for anyone thinking of rocking a mullet :].

Also Ryan, please get with Kevin (Catch22) on the gear req's. He is the man controlling that aspect of the game.

I think that grooming standards would be flexible, but a shorter doo' would certainly within the spirit of the event for MARSOC and Rangers.

So the hair regulations are going to be in place? My hair goes past my ears but I'd be wearing a shemagh covering it and that plus the mich should pretty much not show any hair. And, the SPC is Coyote Brown so I'm assuming it'd be okay?

Seagreen, a few of us are thinking as going in as Chechen units for OPFOR, would this be okay?

Yes an Eagle SPC would be acceptable.

At this time there isn't hair regulations. You should keep it short and neat or atleast try to make it unnoticeable. I have a feeling at future events there will be grooming standards.
