WAR AT RILEA (MARCH 2nd 2008) CANCELED

This forum is for all games and events within the Pacific Northwest. All organizations/promotors are allowed to post events here, calendar posts are also allowed here.

Unfortunately, The BSP Challenge has to be CANCELLED to the 100% at this time.

The the lack of team participation, through no fault of their own, determined that the show can not go on.

The greatest contributing factors:

-Loss of Withycombe

-Cost of Rilea

-Loss of 6 teams for the event.

We can't financially sustain the event without full participation or nearly full. We certainly did pull Rilea together, but with the loss of this many teams and the refunds requested, financing Rilea is now a NO-GO.

We, from the bottom of our hearts APOLOGIZE for the matter at hand. We have had a hard hand dealt and we will overcome it.

For all participating individuals BSP will refund at your request or forward your event fee's to our upcoming events.

Those who have requested refunds, Im currently in the process of performing those actions.

Once again, The BSP Challenge is in a state of Greek tragedy due to venue loss.

Thanks for your understanding and support under these unique and painful circumstances.

Here's a bright side. Some of my funds will go towards purchasing one of those pretty AP hats. The rest will probably go to future airsoft games. This hasn't brought my respect for BSP down at all. Outbreak was great, and am looking to future great events with them.

dont bother thinking about refunding any money from

morgan garrett
keith howe
darren yandel
jeff johnson

instead put this money towards BSP pistol block2 or BSP mout block2.

roll with it bill, see you at the next event.

I do not blame BSP and I do not lose faith on BSP. I think everyone feels the same. There are things that are out of BSP's control but BSP has shown professionalism in trying to handle the problems. It is duly noted and BSP retains its name by doing so. Do not worry or down, let's move on to further BSP awesome-events.

Recovery

Postby Clown » Fri Feb 29, 2008 11:53 pm

A last min scrim is being planned as we speak for 10AM in silverton by PSC. A lot of people worked very hard (venders and players a like) and were looking farward to this event. We feel the best way to vent from all this for everyone who can make it is some trigger time. We will post more info in a new thread so we dont hijack this one.

Thanks.

Been at work for the last 17 hours. I am very very very sorry it has come down like this. We feel ashamed to land on our a$$ like this, but we will be making a speedy recovery. No speculation. No name calling. No idle threats. Our own investigation is underway, and will be dealt with privately.

Thanks for your continued support.

Postby Clown » Sat Mar 01, 2008 12:58 am

You know every once in a while you just have to step back and say we gave it our best and everyone at Ronin really appriciates you guys trying to pull this off we know what its like to put the planning in and you guys worked so hard to make this happen for everyone.

What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger and BSP has are full support we know the next event will rock it up as usual and you all WILL make a full turn around from this. Take a break get some sleep have a coke and a smile (or a beer and a smile) and get your selves ready for the next one.
