ABT CHARITY GAME

The proceeds from the ABT Charity Event are going to Orchards FISH. Will take some pictures of us (ABT) at FISH doing the donation. Heck, we’ll even wear our camos when we do it if you want. Didn’t plan on doing that, but if it will make some of you happy we'll do it. Just as a side note, we are an HONORABLE team and not just trying fill our own stomachs and pockets. ABT along with Team Terror just thought it would be fun to have an event and thought why not help out others. Didn’t think this was going to turn in to such a conspiracy in the Airsoft community.

I don't think anybody is being unreasonable here. There are a lot of dishonest people running Airsoft games all over the nation under the guise of "Charity." There are warnings posted on all major airsoft forums about scam artists (there are even some here on AP). There's always reasons to be cautious.

yea thx bill. there are those that have concerns, and there are those willing to voice them, that is all. i brought it up so that the question was put out there. this community is ALWAYS intrested in helping others and being viewed as a productive community. airsoft in a good light is always better then airsoft in a bad light.

and its better that it is brought up now, then after the fact.....that flame war would give you a cardiac arrest.

It's always the few that make it a phony pony for the many, so I understand the concern about who you can trust. I am hoping that my last post straightens it all out and we can just have a good time, gets some good eats and $$ for FISH and afterwards walk away friends.

don't worry guys I am not insulted at all (read with much sarcasm). I hope answering the "where is the money going" question three times in one thread will end this line. I will tell you this, with all the accusatory posts it makes me want to spend all of my time on bigger events that actually bring in a dollar or two and just say shazaam it to the local charity game series(or hosting games at all). these charity games take away money and time from my family and we do it strickly to benefit the sport. I thought that we could get a little more support from this community for this series as it does put a great face on the sport.

but then again it is early and i am a sensitive bastard. this is a personal statement and not one held by wildboar,abt or the rest of my team.
