You're not making any sense. The M14 is a selective fire platform, therefore it plays by the AEG rules (400 FPS). If it's under (or at) 400 FPS, you're fine. The term "sniper rifle" is non-applicable in terms of where you fall in the FPS limits. I can call my M-16 a "sniper rifle", but I'm still limited to 400 FPS.

Some cheaper brand M14 function as a bolt action.

Are we having G18.2 in someones backyard, is that what this is?

Seriously?

Look, I'm bringing my Ghettoblaster. $30 at ShopKo, 6 years ago. But, I'm bringing it AS A JOKE. I'm packing my M16A2 as my main weapon. I'm just bringing the Ghettoblaster for the fun of it.

My dog wouldn't know what to do with a duck if she caught it, but she's cute. And hates Mexicans. +1!

If it's bolt action, meaning it requires you to pull the bolt back every time you fire it, you can go up to 550 fps with .20g like any other bolt weapon. Anything semi-auto must be under 400 fps.

No. If the AIRSOFT M14 that you own is cheap enough to be a bolt action, there is no way that you're accurate to 70 or 80 yards. That's between 210 and 240 ft with a $30-$40 springer. I don't believe it.

Even so, unless you have upgraded that rifle's spring and everything surrounding it - 300fps with a .2 won't fly 70 yards with a prayer attached to it.
I would be surprised if it got 70 feet with a springer.

I modded the spring making it 400fps with light BB's and by using the wind to carry the BB to the target BB's goes farther when you shoot with the wind and increases the velocity and range so it is possible to shoot 70 yards almost accurate to two feet of the target I never said I hit a target i just said It could shoot 70 yards but it can really shoot accurate up to 50 yards maybe 60 yards or 70 yards depends on the wind speed OK now do you understand just go to my profile and look in my personnel gallery and there the pic of my gun
