From what the field owner was telling me, they should still be open at that time, and will have people there. They'll be able to help direct you to a good spot. You just want to be able to maximize parking for others. Your best bet is probably the west end of the lot.

At the field.

Camping friday night is mainly set up as a convenience for those players who have to drive REALLY far to get to the game... And all they're going to be doing is setting up camp and then sleeping. We don't want to wear out our welcome, we don't want an abundance of people out there.

What kind of "mark" are we talking about?

A swath of pink spraypaint on the receiver, foregrip, or barrel, in a highly noticeable location.

It will be a removable indicator that your gun has passed Chrono.. If we told you what it was, we might get a few yahoos that try to duplicate it. No worries...

Before there is a bombarding of stupid posts:

It will be easily removable and non permanent marking. So dont go off on a tangent.

This is taken from Splat Actions calendar.

"Saturday Feb. 4th - Airsoft Day: Specific portions of the field will be open for Airsoft teams to play with Airsoft guns. Regular play will also be available."

So how much of the field do we get?
I would have thought that the revenue we are bringing to the field would have been sufficient to warrant letting us have the entire field for the day.

Lets not make the mistake of 'returning fire' should we be fired upon by the motocrossers.. errr.. uhmm.. the paintballers I mean.

We will be using "most" of the field. The owner has indicated we may even get to use the ENTIRE field, based on paintballer activity.

Not an issue though, as we have sectioned off huge areas of the map for each mission. With as many people as we have attending, it will be a very "busy" day...

(target rich is an understatement)

.

This field is advertised at 200 acres.......as Angelo can tell you that is over double the land that we had at OPGS2, with a player count of 120-130.

I think anyone who went can tell you that it was good times.
