Unless you and your friends have all the gear you need to play I might suggest going to R&R this weekend instead. Their might not be a full gear rental setup yet at Splat by the 16th. However R&R has what you need to get out in the "poop"

For all of you driving out to R&R, please drive slow & safe. And if your car sucks? Stay home, come next time.
But for the ones that can go, you will not be disappointed. Winter conditions maneuvers are the best! It will test your gear, shooting, tactics, and your body. Be ready

STAY HYDRATED -- HAVE FUN !!!

I'm not if this is allowed, which is why I'm asking. Is a half ski mask allowed?

Did you mean half mesh mask? Or just using ski goggles?

A good thing to check before you show up with these is whether or not they are ANSI rated eyewear. Many ski goggles are not, and a bb will pass right through them at close quarters.
You don't want to take a gamble on your eyes, you only have 2.

Wow I have never been more confused by anything I've ever read on this website. I that's what you have no. If that's what you think we're using definitely no. Go on a airsoft website and buy a mask.

Most of us don't even wear face protection - just eye protection in the form of ANSI rated shooting glasses or goggles. However, wearing a neoprene mask like this can be helpful for protecting your teeth. Lots of folks use these. The only drawback you'll find is that it's hard to communicate while wearing one of these.

Wear whatever you want but I can almost guarantee that it will fog your goggles unless you're using mesh.

If you are wearing it for protection for your teeth buy a wire half face mask, that's what I use and I love it.

If you're wearing it to look like a bad guy, again a wire mask painted black would work better.

If you're wearing it because you think you'll be cold, run around more.

I agree with Clown, if you want to protect your teeth then a mesh half mask or full mouth guard will be more effective. If you have half the gear most of us run around with, staying warm shouldn't be much of an issue. Wearing a boonie also helps keep your head surprisingly warm.

Keep in mind that in cold weather, you do NOT want to sweat, because that is a recipe for hypothermia.

If the mask is for a "bad guy" look, then I think it's a good choice.

All the information about location, time, and requirements should be found in the first post.
Not my game, but generally, so long as you have the basic safety equipment you can come play.

That said, if you are new to the game, I would be prepared to be a bit outgunned. There will be a lot of players on the field kitted for playing all day.

You are more than welcome to join in the fun! You might be outgunned, but that is what getting out there and enjoying the sport is for! You will learn a lot more by getting the floor mopped with you than just sitting on the sidelines! Come on out and mix it up! If you have questions I am sure there will be lots of other players that will be more than willing to lend some information!

Ahoy mateys! This game IS on schedule and will be happening Sunday the 16th. We will have all four vehicles running for this game. We will be limited to approximately 25-30 vehicle seats for good guys, the rest of you will have to hoof it. And if that's not milsim enough for you I don't know what is.

Bad guys, don't feel left out! The dune buggy will be there to assist you in the eradication of the infidels! Also I have chosen Charlie Brown to play the part of Colonel Ashatio. He will make a fine leader and I expect you to protect him with your lives.

We will be sticking to the late start as I mentioned before. If it works well, it's something that I plan to continue using at Splat Action.

Any questions?
