Iam elk hunting in Idaho from the 1st of Oct. til the 14 (2 weeks). But if you guys decide to come during then, Iam sure Tim or John can get the crew together and meet you guys up there.

In a car that gets about 20mpg you'd expect to pay about $140 in gas for a round trip if you're paying an average of $2.80 per gallon. Split 5 ways it's $28, split 4 ways it's $35. If I can find 3-4 guys willing to chip in that, I'd drive.

Your car loaded with gear and four guys isn't gonna get 20mpg though, Matt. Hell I don't even think it gets 20 with nothing in it.

Seriously, My van gets about 30 highway. I can fit 5 with gear comfortably.

Week of Oct 16-21 is Oregon Elk season. Not sure when Washington season is, but it's prolly around that time too.

You may want to avoid that week an account of I'm sure there are some players besides me who will be AWOL for that week.

End of Oct. of beginning of November would be a better time probably.
