The "I Spin Kicked a Blackhawk" Skirm

I had a lot of fun. The fighting was close in, the underbrush was just the right density, and the enemy never let up all day. I'm not sure the hit rules worked, though. From the opposite side, and not knowing what the enemy hit rules were, it just looked like a lot of hacking, on top of the usual hacking, which there was an abundance of, which makes me sad.

And Ranger Harper, the guy in the first pic in the gas mask with the helmet can't be the guy in the helmet and all black in the second picture because I saw them both hiding behind the exact same tree, and working in the same part of the field (within 50 feet of me) for the entirety of the last half of the second round. The guy in the gas mask ended up using a shotgun and he had a vest. The guy in black had a G3 and no vest or gear save for the helmet. Not only that, but I see the gas mask guy behind the person that the guy in all-black BDUs is next to. They both kicked a ton of a$$.

The dude in all black during the second round had BALLS. I saw him get up with a pistol and charge right at somebody with an SL8 (or some kind of semi-only weapon) and dive at him while both were firing like mad. He made it to within five feet of the guy with the SL8 before getting hit. That was pretty damn badass if you ask me.

ohh dont worry. He will be coming to most games with me. we talked about that alot.

You did pretty well yourself Ranger, every time I turned around you were tangling up at the front lines. Your guys definitely did some damage

thanks pacman. theres going to me 7 to 9 of us at that P.L.A. dont you worry. After seeing what the game is like, we have been training some. got ourselves a man to yell at the troops and everything.

It was a good game, for the most part. I would also agree that the hit rules do not work well outdoors. It's extremely distinguish hacking from body armor hits outdoors. Also, there's the problem of what counts as body armor and what doesn't. It's far too much trouble to try and manage, especially for a skirmish. Keep it simple, keep it fun.

The whole thing was ballz crazy, my first event and it was a good one. I particularly enjoyed sneaking around in the under brush though the soggy conditions were a little unruly. Overall would do again if it fit into my time frame. (also my friend lost a Pistol Mag if anyone found an extra one lying in the ground it would be way cool if he could get it back thx)
