Haven't had plastic death for awhile. A Good camp it should be too... and as for the goat killing. That was interesting the first time and I never got any meat. :(

Is OpFor just for the Fragistans or could I run with them? I need to practice with them anyways before Manicotti.

You can run with them if you'd like.

We're not doing a goat feast this time. Too little notice, and I don't have the money for another goat.

It's important to note that this is a step towards making training events for people that want to train. If you want to have shenanigans, show up around dusk or after 5pm on Saturday and camp. It's free, and there's no pissing contest going on.

But all day both days (Saturday and Sunday) we're focusing on training to get new players up to speed, and let airsofters experience some military like training and focus. If you're showing up to just sit around and smoke your mary-wanna, you're probably better off just waiting until the camping, or not showing at all.

Also, this is open to ANYONE that wants to train. Any team, or no team. NO real age restriction.

UPDATE: We'll be having a waiver on hand to sign. No age restriction, but for future Training Day's, if you're under 18, you'll be able to download the waiver off of our team's website at http://www.vivalapla.com, which I still suggest you go to, and make an account and an introductory thread.

Would it be a problem if I showed up around 12? Like, would you be able to get me up to speed and in the training pretty quickly, or if I am going to be late, should I just show up at the end of Saturday?

They're not planned, but if you want, you can bring it just because. If we have time on day 1, we'll run through them.

Throughout my airsoft years I have traversed AP's forums on numerous occasions while researching our most excellent and stellar sport of airsoft. I have recently seperated from the oose navi (read us navy) and moved to the Portland area. I will attend this weekends training and camping festivities as my first Oregon airsoft event. It pleases me to join such a prolific airsoft community. Endless thanks go out to the organizer(s) and property owner of this event. I have but one question: what is the policy of bringing 40oz. libations which are strictly for personal use and RESPONSIBLE consumption that will take place only after Saturdays training events have concluded? Thank you again for all the groundwork.

Go for it. There is camping between airsoft days. It's on private land and OKAY if you're 21 or older. It's gonna be a hoot!

Hosted by our dear Ivan and Bubba of Fragistan Commandos on private land, of the famed and feared Fragistan Commandos.

Sweet. Getting some gear right before this to go with my ACU loadout. I'll be there with IBA and MICH in hand.

Quick question, possibly answered, did not see it:

Is there a chrono on site?

Do we need BDU, ACU,plate carrier..all that for the training?
I try not to stuff too many things into my bag & increase the weight.
I just bought a walkie talkie (motorola talkabout), will be useful at the training right?

That would be fine on Saturday and early Sunday moring.
No drinking on Sunday during training. We don't want people driving home drunk.

Need, no, but you should bring all the gear you use at a normal game.
