OUT FU.CKING STANDING!

as much and as badly as i want to run a stack thru CQC, i am very happy and proud to act for you guys and provide the best possible experience. i hope i am living up to that. i hope that each and every one of you had a great time, and left huge skid marks in your tacticool underoo's, i saw some of you eye to eye and i saw the fear and frustration!

we are stepping up the lvl of play with each and every event, and this was a major benchmark in my opinoin.

Grats to alpine commandos for taking first in a big way ( a 6 man stack took first, something thought by some to be impossible) commandos was one of two stacks that i did not peel the front man off the stack with my blade(TITS got lucky i walked out too soon!). to those i did stab and you didnt fall, i bet you are all sexing you plate carriers tonight!

to renegayed, KK, Junto, and the cat from goat(sorry forgot your callsign) who fell to my blade, i say.....

.....Dr. KA-BAR prescribes some HARDED THE FU.CK UP!!!

.....MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

KA-BAR out

Thanks again to all the admins, actors, and camera people for a great game!

I have to say the tear gas was a nice touch, and that group of people we captured from the sleeping bag room chanting mantras as we marched them off to the drop-off point definately makes the highlight reel for me.

Sometimes logistics don't work in your favor Darren. Sometimes airsoft hurts. :p

All of the character actors that I personally encountered did a fantastic job I must say. A hearty thanks to everyone who helped put this on.

Could we get the rankings and whatnot from the awards dinner posted somewhere for the benefit of those of us who couldn't make it?
EDIT - Nvm, just saw the post in the signup thread.

Also, what kind of gas masks were used, and what, if anything was done to them? I don't know how others fared, but I don't think mine fogged up on me once, which came as a pleasant surprise. :)

They're the the British S10 military issue gas mask. The main reason why they didn't fog is because they completely seal off your eyes from your mouth. They're also just really badass :D

What a weekend! Quite a lot of work, but it's always worth the time and the effort to see the teams come out and compete. I was really impressed with everybody this time, especially the Alpine Kommandos, it was obvious they had trained a lot. Communication was a big thing for them, they stuck together and systematically dumped every room.

Was good seeing McNair again, even tho his drunk a$$ kept me up until 4 am.

As for the meal issue at the banquet, no biggie, I honestly expected more people at the banquet. It's really my bad for not confirming. Sometimes we break even on CQC, sometimes we go into the red... This will be one of those times, oh well, luckily with the support of the community and the success of our other games... this is not a problem. Next time maybe we'll think of a better way to organize that portion of the event.

The flashbangs were nice, it's good to hear that on video rather than admins saying "BANG!" At times they didn't go off, I guess we need to get used to them, I'd be curious to know what the failure rate is on the pyro training devices.

The masks rocked! You all look extremely bad a$$ in them. Thanks Adam, KA-BAR, and Abe for taking the time to tweak the "fog situation" in there and making it impossible to see.

Thanks Ben (Fred) for doing the still photos, I'll help you get those up on a gallery asap. Meanwhile... I've got LOTS of video to offload. Fun times.

Thanks again everybody!

Top Finishers:

1. Alpine Kommandos

2. Aisoft Pacific Strike Team

3. Willamette Airsoft Rangers

Congratulations to the above teams, each showed true skill while taking down the Lunarian Nutjob's. Very well done.

Overall, I was truly impressed with the skill each team showcased during their run. The teams collectively were all FAR better than the past runs. We are talking a very narrow margin of victory for all teams....which is really awesome. It proves that you are working on your "A" game for the events and you are bringing it with you on game day.

Thank you to all the actors. Several of you were only able to make it for one day, others both. Regardless of the amount of time you were able to give to the event, it was appreciated no matter how much bitching we could do to you guys. Hopefully no offense was taken, because none was intended. (hail Martin, or hail ME! as Nic would say)

I hope you all had as much fun as we the administrative staff had. I know it was more than worth me personal time to come out and see old friends and new, and watch some kick a$$ teams...kick a$$!

Thank you all again, we'll kick CQC6 into gear in about 6 months, so stay sharp!

Great job all the stacks (especiall WAR, you were the only guys who found a pistol in my pants). Even though we had to sit on a cold floor chanting for hours.. we had a blast. I'll do my best to be there for the next one.

I made an error last night at the raffle. I errantly put out tickets for two members of APST who were not there.

There was a misunderstanding on my part. So, it is my fault, fortunately a poster was won. That is the only reason the item was passed out.

This is my error and apologize to everyone.

With that out of the way, please check into the "lost and found" thread. There are items that are missing and found that Im sure the owners would like back.

Again, I had a great time. I hope you guys did too.
