Ya this game was a blast. Acting is great fun, especially when you get to lie in wait to kill your enemies. I really enjoyed seeing how each team brought their own style. Our station was react to fire and there was a wide amount of variety in how teams reacted after their first member dropped. Some didn't react as well as others. If you heard "chicken" being yelled across the battlefield that was our flank signal to punish you for lack of reaction. Or it meant we were hungry.

I thought the event was well run, as always with OSK. The consistency and good organization was remarkable for an event and it made being an actor even better. Many thanks to OSK for continuing to put on great events, we hope to compete at the next one.

I think I am going to buy a lottery ticket this week. 2/2 on AEG raffles, I might as well try and ride the streak. :)

Thanks for showing us a few places we need to work on. We had a GREAT time. I'd have been better off if I wouldn't have been experiencing multiple athsma attacks all day. I'll be bringing Albuterol with me to any and every game I attend in the future.

I was surprised at how much more... hasty... the hasty defence was this time. We got to the place we were supposed to defend and were instantly under fire. Pretty hasty.

Now to practice breaking contact...

You did get hit hard, maybe harder than any of the other teams at the station. But... you did very well there anyways, set a good parimeter and didn't loose everyone either. You gotta make that kid your permanent feild medic.

I couldn't stop laughing after he rolled over the log to save my dumb a$$.
Well the little bastard needs to buy a gun and come to 2 more games before we can make him a permanent anything. ;) Sunday was the first time he'd played with the team. But I'm sure he'll be around. I would sure as hell like to see more of him.

Oh, and KK, I think it was you that pegged me in the side of the head. I still have it out for you from being part of the command element that abandoned me in Mugambi, now I have twice the reason to hunt you down.

Fear the bunkers.
Next time, you may have to knock out a fortified outpost. ;)

Got lit up in the face TWICE by the same dude even though I was Admin, but hey...it was a clean shot and I admire accuracy!
Thanks for putting up with me in my first Admin role ever. Definately a learning experience.

I got a call today from Owen Wilson, the tree farm manager for the area we use.

Some of you may remember the fire pit that someone had made in the middle of the road on the way up to the area we used. We are being blamed for it being there and there for having a fire there. I have not been back in contact with him but I left him a voice mail saying that we were not who made or used it.

We are also being accused of going up into the active logging area marked as off limits.

The field is now closed, any airsofters found up there will have the Sheriff called and will be charged with trespassing.

Wow, that is crap. That guy who was yelling for us to move our cars probably said we did that stuff.

I am going to go up to the Ranger station this weekend and see if we can get all the permits needed to use a place about 2 miles farther up the road. This guy is not willing to listen to facts.

We have 2 fields lined up now, it will take some time for us to work out some game mechanics out for them, watch out for FTIV!
