I have room for two people in my rig if a ride is needed. Shoot me a PM.

Looks I'm free this weekend. I'll either run with the Rushing Russians for Spetsnaz or ISAF-C for OPFOR. Just where ever I am needed most. I have kits for both.

Oh and there is no "h" in Stepan. ;)

First off: Thank you to Ivan and Catch22 for getting a new field option in a hurry.

We had some scouting done and the safety risks outweighed the fun factor for the primary locations. As some of you guys know from how we do it...it's always safety (reasonable measured risk) then fun.

This will be a fun event. For those who did the first impression game it should be on par with the fun and immersion factor. We will continue these type of no-to low cost games going to build funds for an all out event. I have talked to a few interested parties about setting up a collaborative effort and so far everything looks great.

Now that being said:

Everyone who is OPFOR, please be on site around 9am. We need to have a talk about disposition, some basic roles, and of course how much fun we are gonna have dying gloriously in battle.

BLUFOR teams please be on site and ready to roll by 10am. You will be read-in on the mission profiles and sent on your way. The BEAUTY of this new location is that it will allow us to run these scenarios MULTIPLE times so teams can use this as a training opportunity as well as a fun opportunity.

We are building our little mil-sim community again...and this is our first go at it in a couple years.

Preemptively...thank you all for helping and playing. This is something I have missed a great deal...and I'm glad to finally be back into the mix.

Any details about the new AO for those who have not seen it before?

Ivan and Catch can likely hook up that intel.

This will be a tighter venue than we had originally envisioned, but the reality is...we want everyone to make it to the AO, and make it out of the AO safely. :]

There's mud, blackberry bushes, more bushes, trees, some hills, and the occasional cow.
Oh yeah, and mud.

I concur with that assessment. Lots of mud. Lots of blackberries.

Don't forget the cow poop. And the occasional animal bone. Potat's long lost cousin?

Just curious - Does the no winding mags apply to support weapons? We would like to run support guns.

self winding box mags would be fine for support weapons only, if your are running a support weapon like an M249 with an AR mag thats a wind up that would be a no go.
