As it looks right now we will be doing arm bands. This is going to be an easy going day to help us tune up the field, get you guys opinion, and get everyone aquainted with each other. So if you guys want to talk amongst yourselves and say "phantom will be multicam" etc. So be it. But I just want everyone to come and have a good time. Plus I will have flyers up at the shops that will allow it and hopefully draw some new blood in and we can all have a good educational day.

As well, I have a new bit of info. We will be allowing DMR players to participate. You have the gear why not use it. 400 fps for polar star and AEG, 475 for DMR, and 550 for bolt action. DMR can only use low and mid cap. Player complaints will be fielded by me, so if someone comes out with a DMR and starts lighting people up, we will have a little chat. Plus the kill zone is 100 feet for DMR and Bolt Action. Unless everyone wants 125. Then we will do that, it will be decided on game day.

Events posted on AP must utilize AP FPS rules. Your DMR rule is way above it, and is unsafe. I will not (and I doubt any of my teammates) will play at the field as long as that DMR rule is in effect.

My bad, Ill edit it. Found some info on the net for speeds and I guess they were wrong. I just want people to bring what they have and enjoy the day. Sounds like I need to have some springs on hand..

I will be down in Southern California that weekend taking my national paramedic test, but I'll let my team know.

Side note, who would I contact regarding hosting an event there?

Thats an easy one, me! John has allowed me to run this aspect of Splat Action for him. So this winter I will be researching past military actions and putting together scenarios based upon real life events.

This is false information.

Rule #2: DO NOT discuss or plan games with unreasonable and unsafe velocity limits or rules. Airsoft Pacific reserves the right to remove your posting if we feel the game is too dangerous. Any velocity limits exceeding the posted numbers on the Airsoft Pacific ruleset may be removed from the website. (We also grant anyone permission to post our rules on their own websites)

The posted velocity limits are a guideline, not a rule. If you truly feel those velocity limits are unfair or unsafe, Jester, then I refer you to rule #4 of the Event Forum:

Replies in event postings should only be to SIGN UP or to ask questions about the game. No need to reply if you can't be there, unless you have previously signed up. Do not post complaints about the game's price or the subject matter of the game. If you are not interested, do not reply. DO NOT reply about gear you have to sell at the event unless the event is a designated swap meet and the organizer invites you to post those items.

This has been taken care of and is now a non-issue. Take your own advice Abe, and don't post things in the thread that aren't game related... :D

Also I sit on large wienies.

I'm hoping to have that morning off to bring two, but do we need to provide our own armbands and if so what color?
