As long as the price tag stays away from the BattleSim standard three-digit mark, I may be persuaded to check this out.

Pricing?

Pricing has not been determined as we do not have final costs for the event. We are trying to make it as cost-friendly as possible but understand this is not being run by Battlesim but by a professional training company. All graders will be non-airsoft players with real world certifications and training experience. This will ensure complete objectivity on grading as there will be no airsoft politics involved. In addition, Battlesim will not be competing or eligible for any prizes, awards or certificates.

Location?

The location is within 45 minutes of Seattle and Tacoma and is a single 3 story building with an enormous amount of complex space and problems. We will be providing doors, ladders, blank firing breaching weapons, simulated demo charges and other goodies for each target. We will be executing 7 hits for each team over a 2 day session. Grading will be based on a combination of time and performance on target to be determined by Insights Training.

How's it going to work?

Concept of operations is that each team will get their mission and have 1 hour for prep time. This includes gathering intelligence, sending undercover operatives to id targets and locations, and rehearsals in prepared "tape rooms". The focus will be on creating the most realistic operating environment ever done for an airsoft competition. Objective graders will follow each team and then provide a full after action review with tactical training points that will be aproximately 10-15 in length. You will get pro-level feedback and review of your performance. You will walk away from this event with the level of knowledge normally reserved for $200+ per day training.

Who's running this any how?

This is not an airsoft game. This is a tactical training exercise lead by professional trainers who have taught over 10,000 people over the last 18 years. Insight's master trainer Greg Hamilton is internationally recognized as one of the best firearms and tactics instructors in the world. He is a veteran of the US Army Rangers and Special Forces, and is certified by the Army as a Close Quarters Combat Instructor and Anti-Terrorism Instructor. He is certified by the National Law Enforcement Training Center as a Handgun Retention Instructor, and by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC) as a Firearms Instructor.

There will be trophies for winners as well as prizes for individuals with outstanding performance. This is not an event to be missed. All grading and scoring will be transparent and each team will recieve a realistic and comprehensive evaluation of their performance.

We will post details as they surface.

We are trying to keep it under 3 digits. We will likely have a tiered pricing system that will go down as the registrations go up. We will take a deposit from each team/person and the final cost will be determined by the total amount of people who have registered.

What are you talking about? Aside from 4 day Recondo school, and 3 day Jump to Destiny, what else has been even near a three-digit price?
