Highlights
NATO forces were able to capture and secure the Genoese Fortress (Sudak) in Crimea. However, NATO forces were unable to capture the fortress quickly due to militia mortar teams who were successful at disrupting the NATO landing forces. Their success delayed NATO’s ability to link their forces which allowed some of the Wagner Group to escape with vital intelligence and biological components of the GATOR weapon system with them.
